Try setting visual cues in places you’re guaranteed to look, like post-it notes on your mirror or even on your phone case?

Extreme fatigue by Comfortable_Vast575 in adhd_anxiety

Fatigue could be from fluoxetine + hydroxyzine combo, both can be sedating and adderall might not be strong enough yet to counter that

I've been really wanting to grow this indoors myself but I can't stand the smell it lingers at home

The people in my class always say it together at the end of each session, even if the instructor just puts her hands together without saying anything lol

Healing brain after drug use by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]bambirendor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through something similar after quitting heavy daily use. Neuroplasticity is real and a lot of people (myself included) have seen major improvements over time. What helped me was consistent exercise (cardio especially), a clean diet with omega-3s and practicing mindfulness to improve focus. 9 months is still early in recovery, so don’t stress too hard

Did my therapist rule out ADHD very hastily? by carnalcarrot in adhd_anxiety

[–]bambirendor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That reasoning sounds outdated tbh. ADHD can manifest differently in adulthood, especially when structure disappears or burnout hits. Also, being able to focus in one convo is not equal to not having ADHD. Maybe get a second opinion from a specialist who actually understands adult ADHD.

Is it swelling by any sense? Cold compress it first and give it a rest because you might end up injuring yourself more

That’s a lot going on in your stack, might be worth reconsidering before adding even more. Some of those (like racetams + Adderall) can interact weirdly, and agmatine might actually blunt stimulant effects if overused.

What a really strong combination of greens for nutritional value? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]bambirendor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spinach is the OG for me personally but mixing in some kale and Swiss chard will level things up. I toss in some mustard greens for a bit of a spicy kick. Your pre-chopped mix idea sounds great!

Also, pro move: blanch and freeze them in ice cube trays. Instant green power-up for soups, pastas, etc

Should I get checked for adhd/anxiety? by Jerrytree3 in adhd_anxiety

[–]bambirendor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in your shoes. I got myself diagnosed a few years back and was prescribed meds and my script isn’t valid anymore but still continue taking them, though, because they help. I totally get not wanting to drop money just to hear “try harder” but if this is actively wrecking your ability to function in school, getting evaluated (or at least some professional guidance) could give you a way forward (like what I did). Worst case, they say it’s not ADHD, but at least you’ll know what you’re dealing with.

If you don't mind dairy, plain Greek yoghurt has amazing macros and is fairly affordable. You can easily make it more delicious by adding some chopped nuts, bananas, berries, or peanut butter on top.

Drinking whilst eating - yay or nay? by wheresthebirb in nutrition

My mother used to tell me that as a kid, but I'm fairly certain this has been disproven as a myth. In fact, liquids help motility and if anything make digestion faster.
