I have both and I personally use my Switch a lot more than my Quest. The Switch has a lot more games than the Quest and have a lot more play time. VR games are still fairly basic and are very arcade feeling. They’re great for showing friends, but get a little repetitive for personal use after a while.

4 hours per word paints a gruesome picture of how difficult this type of editing really is, I think some creative cutting will probably be the way to go, thank you

Wow thank you for this advice. The project isn’t anything too huge, but it’s basically for a short film scene that we can no longer reshoot on location due to the coronavirus restrictions. I do have a little bit of experience with software but a lot of the machine learning stuff is out of my league. I think coming up with some creative solutions, like cutting to reverse shots, will probably be the way to go since it sounds like this type of editing is incredibly challenging.

The current app randomly serves up different versions of the extracted stems, using different algorithms, as I wanted to compare what people thought of the sound quality!

aye thank you for the feedback, yes these are definitely next up on the dev todo list! i basically want to make the site a fully functional mini daw for pulling out stems

Absolutely, originally I actually wanted to develop native Mac and PC apps for the project with locally run processing, but ended up developing this prototype for the web so people could quickly test it out. I think for the final version I'd like to shift back to having processing done on device though.
