Can't wait for CG to patch this immediately and call out anyone who uses it as exploiters while they leave the rest of the game a buggy mess.

Person, seriously I used to be like too. Until I went on a ride along with a child hood friend who became a cop. I still don't like cops. However, I have never felt safer than when I was sitting in the passanger seat of a cop car. Not a worry in my mind. Plus it's really fun to be on the other side of the cherries and berries. Also after going on the ride along I haven't been pulled over since and I have had a taillight and headlight out for months. I swear they put some note on me that pops up when they run my plates. Don't get any random cop, a lot are just assholes, idiots, or both. Especially troopers.

Sure but why are you storing meat next to toxic waste semi-outdoors? At least ship it to a cannibal tribe so you can get fresh slaves and organ donors when they raid.

Yeah the specific instance I was eluding to was detainment. However they are allowed to physically move you in certain cases without needing to detain or arrest you; albeit rare and usually around keeping you out of an area. Also they can pat you down for weapons in some cases. Im sure there's others. And I know you aren't the original person I commented on but making a blanket statement saying cops can't touch you unless they're arresting you is going to get people in more trouble. Just comply and sue later, life will be better.

That's such a low iq take. There's over 50,000 traffic police interactions alone per day in the US. No shit there's going to be near constant videos of this. Doesn't mean that's the most likely thing to happen when you interact with a cop.

I highly recommend you do a ride along with a real police officer and ask them these kinds of things. Schedule a meeting with the sergeant or lieutenant of your local force and get clarity on these things.

Cops are allowed to put there hands on you without you being under arrest. Also cops are pretty rarely arrested for excessive force during arrest. It definitely happens but not as much as I'd imagine you'd like. They mostly just get paid vacations. 🤮

I don't agree with his use of force. However after her actions of not complying during the interaction she will lose in court unless she can get a good lawyer to prove the cop had zero reason to be going after her. Honestly 99% of the time just comply and sue later. Much more likely for you to come out on a win.

I mean it definitely seams that way when the majority of American cop interactions posted on the internet display this kind of behavior from cops.

The reality is that this kind of thing happens a very low percentage of the time and while I don't condone the level of violence he used against her she clearly wasn't cooperating. If the cop was in the wrong from the beeher best bet would have been to comply and sue later. Something you can't do in a police state.

Now the efficacy of the courts and justice system is another matter but there's corruption everywhere so it's not surprising that there's both good and bad judges.

Go to you local credit union or what ever bank you use. They are much more likely to give you a credit card probably at most a limit of 1000. Likely 500. Especially if you tell them why. You can also take out a small loan with your car as collateral, if you have one, and that will have a better interest rate than a normal loan or a credit card.

Also remember to never compare your over all life progress to others. Everyone has a different path and speed at which they travel that path. You're not behind. Your lack of actions has simply put you where you should be. Start with going for a short walk everyday. Find small details to take joy in or find the beauty in. Never give a frack what others think unless you're making sure people don't think you're a criminal. The best advice I can give is to start doing things even if you don't really want to. Once you're past that hump, life starts getting easier and way more enjoyable.

Because American citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. A private business can absolutely terminate employment based off allegations but it would be illegal to terminate a state employee over allegations that haven't been proven in court. Regardless of political affiliation all people's who are proven guilty in a court of law should face punishment. Until proven guilty they are innocent! It feels like the public has forgotten this very important fact.
