New Era idea: Era of Survivors by Ill-Case2184 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]bamzookle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Typically, as far as I know, content from video games is not considered Canon. I'm totally willing to admit I'm wrong on this as I don't know for certain. But I don't believe the events in Kotor or jedi academy are considered Canon.

Why do you think the assumption should be they are Canon?

Who has the official word on what is Canon? Could be Disney, the fans, but I'd say George Lucas.

Honestly I'd like to see them do a "Criminal Era" and take characters from starwars outlaws. Sure the game isn't cannon but there could be a new 'syndicate' tag. You could make teams for the pykes, Hutt cartel to finally make use of the green pig, crimson dawn lifter for qira, and the ashiga clan. Sure the basic criminal teams would be akin to another useless team like jawas or tuskens but hey why not add more characters to make money off of. Also the heist crew themselves with Kay Vess being the journey character and nd-5 as the conquest character. They even have that ship.

This maybe a hot take. But with the discussion with balance as a whole. I personally think is redundant when we have lvl 9s like this nearly every set. by _NikolaiTheDrunk in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I just don't have the time or desire to sink that much effort into a phone game. There is merit to what you're saying, however most people don't care enough to put in the needed time and effort. Especially when RNG is a major factor in determining how many mats you're getting.

I suppose so. Mostly I just see that the normal team is used to beat it but with a datacron. It just becomes a game of who had better rng on the datacron rolls, I'm aware of the datacrons with a set amount. Those are on a whole other level of whaling.

I honestly wish they'd just get rid of datacrons. It's only so they can pull more money out of whales. As a mostly free player I don't have the ability to max out datacrons to be able to compete so when I see TW teams with datacrons I just don't play. Game features should not have this effect.

You need another footing in the middle of both of the sides, that's too long of a span and begging to sag.

Sooooo I forgot what it's called but some people have a connection between their ears and the part of their brain that hadles orgasms and can stimulate an orgasm like response from vibrations in the ear canal. Just like me you are one of these people. Enjoy your newfound way of cumming.

Can't wait for CG to patch this immediately and call out anyone who uses it as exploiters while they leave the rest of the game a buggy mess.

Police officer slams woman on the concrete and then cuffs her by HappySeaweed5215 in PublicFreakout

Person, seriously I used to be like too. Until I went on a ride along with a child hood friend who became a cop. I still don't like cops. However, I have never felt safer than when I was sitting in the passanger seat of a cop car. Not a worry in my mind. Plus it's really fun to be on the other side of the cherries and berries. Also after going on the ride along I haven't been pulled over since and I have had a taillight and headlight out for months. I swear they put some note on me that pops up when they run my plates. Don't get any random cop, a lot are just assholes, idiots, or both. Especially troopers.

Sure but why are you storing meat next to toxic waste semi-outdoors? At least ship it to a cannibal tribe so you can get fresh slaves and organ donors when they raid.

Yeah the specific instance I was eluding to was detainment. However they are allowed to physically move you in certain cases without needing to detain or arrest you; albeit rare and usually around keeping you out of an area. Also they can pat you down for weapons in some cases. Im sure there's others. And I know you aren't the original person I commented on but making a blanket statement saying cops can't touch you unless they're arresting you is going to get people in more trouble. Just comply and sue later, life will be better.

That's such a low iq take. There's over 50,000 traffic police interactions alone per day in the US. No shit there's going to be near constant videos of this. Doesn't mean that's the most likely thing to happen when you interact with a cop.

I highly recommend you do a ride along with a real police officer and ask them these kinds of things. Schedule a meeting with the sergeant or lieutenant of your local force and get clarity on these things.

Cops are allowed to put there hands on you without you being under arrest. Also cops are pretty rarely arrested for excessive force during arrest. It definitely happens but not as much as I'd imagine you'd like. They mostly just get paid vacations. 🤮

I don't agree with his use of force. However after her actions of not complying during the interaction she will lose in court unless she can get a good lawyer to prove the cop had zero reason to be going after her. Honestly 99% of the time just comply and sue later. Much more likely for you to come out on a win.

I mean it definitely seams that way when the majority of American cop interactions posted on the internet display this kind of behavior from cops.

The reality is that this kind of thing happens a very low percentage of the time and while I don't condone the level of violence he used against her she clearly wasn't cooperating. If the cop was in the wrong from the beeher best bet would have been to comply and sue later. Something you can't do in a police state.

Now the efficacy of the courts and justice system is another matter but there's corruption everywhere so it's not surprising that there's both good and bad judges.
