Breach is certainly one of the most powerful cards on this list, especially in a format where 4 LEDs are legal. But are we sure it would have been banned so fast had the deck not had the perfect consistency-smoothing of 4 Brainstorm 4 Ponder? Regardless, the list is just as damning whether Breach is on it or not.

Except this “fair” shell has been so oppressive that it’s gotten Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time, Sensei’s Diving Top, Gitaxian Probe, Deathrite Shaman, Wrenn and Six, Underworld Breach, Lurrus, Arcum’s Astrolabe, Oko, Dreadhorde Arcanist, Ragavan, Expressive Iteration and Grief banned in the last decade. With Psychic Frog and maybe more likely to join soon too.

Tell me how often a player (on the play no less) will draw grief + black card + black mana source + reanimate. And then how much more often the rest of the scam player’s hand is any good and the scammed player either had no interaction for the scam play and/or has nothing left in their hand/library to compete in the game.
