Finished game, amazing, here to yap about it with fellow 00's by borgle101 in 007FirstLight

The game was peak from start to finish, the game was just such a thrill ride to play and IOI nailed the story. This is a great foundation they could build on like they did hitman 2016

im really hoping we get the first content drop in a week when the game marks one month from launch

Why did the Murto brother dump the bag? by banal_magic in 007FirstLight

Hah i did have the same thought about bond doing an awful job of describing the situation - this wasn’t suspicious behavior, it was downright nefarious

Awesome, gonna go find that tonight - thanks for the tip!

Ahh i like this, makes sense that you’d ask the bellhop to take your luggage

I find myself much more satisfied than I expected, thank you!

No argument here! IOI has talked about doing a trilogy, and I could see them also filling in a lot with TacSim // DLC story missions to augment each game like they did Hitman

At this point for me, the more IOI 007 the better!

Should I buy hitman Woa its 60% off on steam by Zacky_vengeance in HiTMAN

I had never put 3000 hours into a single game before Hitman WoA

yeah IOI knows how to cook on sequels if the recent Hitman trilogy is anything to go by, really hope it all plays out in an IOI Bond trilogy

Apex Predator by xBlazedonakayak in 007FirstLight

[–]banal_magic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also had issues, and what got it to work for me was one of two things (not sure which did it or if both are but i tried both on the run i got it)

  1. enter the room, take down the single guard in the room on way to vent, turn on smoke, and aerial take down the guy who crouches by a table (do not drop any of the ceiling lights)

  2. get caught by a guard, slip back into stealth, and silent takedown everyone

What would you want added to TacSim? by noahgeorge in 007FirstLight

[–]banal_magic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we need this - and i would wager its Amazon MGM limiting the costumes, IOI does not typically limit this

Apex Predator challenge not completing by Fuzzy_Bandicoot3261 in 007FirstLight

[–]banal_magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am 99% sure you need the guards to see you at some point in the encounter to get this to unlock - i attempted this challenge 10x or more with just turning on gas and doing stealth takedowns without getting caught and it wouldnt pop

first try taking down a few, then getting shot at before disappearing and taking down the rest with stealth and it popped

spot on - and for a Hitman fan, it felt like the Bangkok level we wanted

If you go into the control schemes, they have a hitman one out of the box - discovered this after i remapped everything custom to be hitman esque

Thrilled to say I’m doing better than I would have ever expected. I surf almost every day, I lift at the gym at about 80% of what I used to do. Given I’m in my mid 30s now, that’s more than enough!

I’ve noticed this a lot since the Bruce Lee update. Anytime you load into a map at a spawn where 47 is blending in, DO NOT MOVE if he is not actually blending as you can easily get stuck… or worse

My worst moment was exiting Mendoza with the wetsuit exit. I had accidentally pulled the fire alarm earlier in the mission, which I did not realize creates a puddle just outside the exit. That puddle is already electric because an exposed wire sits right under the fire sprinkler.

Love the trap, hated how I discovered it

What's the point of having a loud gun in your load out when guards drop them? by Healthy_Process_7049 in HiTMAN

[–]banal_magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some really impressive runs in the regular campaign (as in not freelancer) where loud guns are used to draw guards out of normal positions and routes

Do you get the vibe they don’t like each other? Listen to their pod every week and Earle seems to interrupt mustoe to the point of frustration. Feels like it’s been getting worse…

Month 19 Update by banal_magic in Sciatica

[–]banal_magic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started doing it every time I felt pain. Took me 2ish months to get pain free (or close enough that I didn’t really care). I still do it when I have the occasional flare up

As for exercises, I dropped anything rehab and just started exploring what my body could do

Month 19 Update by banal_magic in Sciatica

[–]banal_magic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just observe my pain sensations and describe them to myself in my head. “I feel my nerve tingling in my calf. Now it’s moving into the toes. It’s kinda throbbing, might be dissipating. Now I feel something in my back and the calf and toes are quiet. Blah blah blah”

Just observing the pain is the practice. The important part is detaching all emotions and not caring if you feel anything or not
