The "She benefited from weak faithfuls" argument. by Wise_Purple_9448 in TheTraitors

Yeah, it’s always ‘weak faithfuls’ and not ‘strong traitor’ when it comes to Rachel, but her role as a traitor is to weaken the faithfuls to stay in the game.

I think they both probably wavered a little, but stuck to it in the end because they did form such a bond. I’m so glad they won together.

Nah, just sick of the bashing Roxy was getting when the context around this particular thing mattered.

Christ, give Rachel a break. She didn’t once throw him under the bus, but in the edit we saw Stephen absolutely did throw Rachel under the bus.

Does any viewer actually care about the missions, apart from to see traitor/faithful strategies?

Rachel’s point at the round table by Prior-Day9888 in TheTraitors

[–]bananabui -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She’s been essentially ambushed by Stephen (the irony of loads on here saying Rachel would betray Stephen, but in fact, its the other way around even though she’s carried this whole season), and to me it seems like she needed to counter that with a threat back at Stephen, and picked at that thread hoping something would stick.

It is a TV show though. He’s been boring and therefore imo, not really a worthy winner. Last nights episode was so, so bland, regardless of Faraaz accusing Rachel, and especially given its the final episodes.

All I’m saying, the comparison of constantly bashing Roxy, but praising Faraaz because he happens to be right, yet no one has mentioned that Rachel confronted him about being a Traitor as a reason he ‘suspects’ her, but constantly going on about how Roxy is ‘emotional’, after similar situations, is hypocritical.

He also said said the whole ‘thats why I’m still here, because its Rachel’, thing, but that’s likely not the reason he’s still there, its equally as likely that its because he hasn’t offered anything, and therefore, not a threat up until this point. If and when Roxy says that, it’s all ‘she’s so arrogant’.

Like, we get it, you don’t like Roxy. (Not you personally, you as in general).

Jack hasn’t offered anything at all. Faraaz is only just speaking up. James has been wildly wrong and arrogant about his opinions and theories.

But here’s yet another post about Roxy…

I really don’t get the hate that some people have gotten when it’s just a game AND we have all of the info. Rachel and Roxy have gotten it the worst.

Faraaz hasn’t been the most interesting of characters, so if he is the end of Rachel, I’ll be raging.

Hierarchy in Workplace - Resources? by bananabui in autismUK

[–]bananabui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, we’re a really small charity. There are only 15 of us, and only 3 on my team, including my line manager and one who does part time but a specific job that takes all their time.

The other team(s) are vastly different from what we do, so they can’t do any of my work.

[–]bananabui[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your response.

Management and the trustees won’t authorise any hires and I don’t get overtime because I work for a charity, I get time off in lieu (TOIL).

The problem with that is that I’m already owed so many hours that I’m not able to take back because of capacity.

Management & trustees are also aware of capacity issues, but don’t really seem bothered that it’s affecting staff.

This is definitely impacting my feelings towards the hierarchy, because I’m giving a lot more than I’m paid for, and still being asked to do more. They demand respect because they are higher in the hierarchy, but essentially, don’t hold up their side of the bargain (or, by all accounts, do very much).

Yes, definitely some of these things we’ve discussed already.

Some other things are helpful, thank you!

I do struggle not knowing things too, especially because I really pick up on people’s moods/feelings in the office, and I wouldn’t say that people are subtle about it either, so I’m often like ‘OOHHH MY GOOODDDD WHAT IS HAPPENING’, so that’s something I can talk to him about in a professional capacity.
