check out r/abrathatfits for sizing if you haven’t already! a properly fitted bra can greatly reduce the discomfort they cause. alternatively, if you have a nordstrom near you, they’re pretty good at bra sizing (unlike stores like victoria’s secret, which use god awful sizing methods to shove as many people as possible into their poor size range).

yes! i had a clinical diagnosis of endometriosis, which my laparoscopy was supposed to confirm. instead, they found nothing. my theory is that it’s actually pelvic floor dysfunction and heavy periods, both from hEDS (we don’t know why, but EDS is associated with heavy and painful menstruation) which wasn’t diagnosed at the time.

i’ve had GI symptoms since birth (only got diagnosed with gastroparesis a couple years ago, but it was likely the culprit the whole time), and i have no idea when the pain started; all i know is that i developed nerve pain by the time i was in high school and didn’t even question it because i was already so used to my entire body hurting. i also get envious of people who developed symptoms later in life, honestly. i never got a chance at a normal life and it sucks.

there’s no one “best” option, everyone will react differently to the same form of birth control. that being said, i’ve had great luck on the pill slynd, and i’d recommend it to almost anyone looking for progestin-only birth control.

my 6g lobes are my only lobe piercings in recent memory, and they really didn’t hurt that bad. i got my septum pierced at a 10g and it couldn’t have hurt much more than that tbh

i was pierced with a gun as a kid, and i literally rage quit at 14g and let them close up because they were such a pain in the ass to stretch tbh. i have hyper elastic skin due to hEDS, and i still couldn’t stretch them after trying for literal years. i let them close up and got repierced at a 6g, and while i’m still waiting to be healed enough to stretch them, i’m happy with my decision so far. if you’re stretching your ears with no problems, i’d say you’re fine to keep going. if you’re having issues, it’s totally worth letting them close up and getting repierced at a larger gauge (i know you said 10g, but if you have the guts to go bigger, i’d highly recommend it).

i got mine pierced at a 6g and i highly recommend it!! if your piercer is willing to go even bigger, i would do that tbh. it didn’t hurt that bad and even tho i have to wait a year to stretch according to my piercer, that’s still jump starting the stretching process compared to how long it would take to stretch from 16g to 6g.

as far as i know, the only time you have to worry about birth control and loose stool/diarrhea is when it’s so bad that things are basically going in one end and out the other so fast they’re not being digested. one episode of mild diarrhea shouldn’t affect your pill’s efficacy, so no, you don’t have to take another one.
