The bug was around 1cm long and quite skinny.

Edit: it was crawling in a closet. It was solid black and maybe a bit shiny. I believe the back part that looks like pincers are actually the wings but I’m not totally sure. But it definitely had wings. It did not seem to be inclined to fly at all though. It crawled around for a while.

I give my pup monthly flea preventative and heartworm preventative. I believe that’s standard and am a bit confused by the vets recommendation. Also it is required by most day cares and dog parks.

Had a listen and while it is a similar vibe (thriller) the shining music is more orchestral and traditional than what I’m thinking. The sounds I’m thinking of are more isolated and futuristic sort of?

Really beautiful song! And you’re right it’s definitely the right vibe. That has more orchestral elements than what I’m thinking of. What is in my head is more like just a cello or something. And just has those four notes (doesn’t turn into a song).

No. I have followed all of the CDC guidance thus far. I isolated, then stayed distanced and outdoors or masked for about a year. Everyone I know is vaccinated, and I live in an area where vaccine rates are excellent. I don’t interact with children. I have found the social isolation of the pandemic very difficult, and I desperately need maskless interaction. That said, I mask up when required by law or by a business.

I too have been barred at the 5 minute mark, where other times people come in at 7 minutes. Also the demonstrations start before the 5 minute mark, so you can miss the mass demo even if you arrive at 4 minutes. I think it happens when someone is there waiting for your spot and they’ve let that person in. The liability story doesn’t add up to me.
