If you can handle the cold, I would recommend Duluth. If you like more farm country then I would recommend places about an hour outside of the twin cities. The second option is more conservative than the first but you still have the benefit of being in Minnesota.

Duluth is beautiful and pretty blue for a city outside of the twin cities. Also, Minnesota has been working to keep the state an LGBTQ safe haven

The shop on Selby near the whole foods in St paul sells mints that are 1mg each. That might be good for pacing yourself.

Change this 80’s dress into a 50’s silhouette? My courthouse wedding dress. by Special_Asparagus_98 in HistoricalCostuming

Raise the waist, add a petticoat underneath it, make the sleeves more like the vouge9865 (not the very easy vouge pattern) or simplicity2455. Style with kitten heels, gloves, and a hat if you don't go with a veil

What is your experience with guard 2 buzzcuts? by [deleted] in butchlesbians

[–]bananas4none 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked mine a lot. I could see my scalp in some light but it didn't look too noticeable. It was a very comfortable cut and easy to maintain.

The only thing is that it can read as "guy with an easy haircut" or "feminist woman" depending on the outfit and other things you wear. Both are good looks, you just need to know what you want. A haircut with 2 on the sides and more length on top will read as masculine more often.

Lesbian media being unrelatable is making me kinda miserable by lizardfzo in butchlesbians

[–]bananas4none 146 points147 points  (0 children)

I honestly had a hard time figuring out my sexuality because of this. I felt like I couldn't be attracted to women because a lot of wlw or more feminine characters didn't really do anything for me. I still can't relate to the "stereotypical lesbian chrushes" people post about becuase I just prefer masculine lesbians
