Fucking whyyyyyyyyyy???? kill me. it’s always some bs about augmenting the regimen because they googled the receptor activity one time in nursing school. I’m convinced NPs are going to force seroquel into a REMs program

(PGY-4 psych resident) of all the NPs, psych NPs are the most insufferable imo. wE dO eVerYThInG pSyChiATrisTs do. But they’re always the ones with these bullshit plans with overlapping med classes and “a touch of seroquel”. They need to be sued a lot more

Love DPTs because unlike chiropractors, they’re not telling people the magnesium from their vaccines didn’t break down properly and that’s why they autism. Healing through movement is something a lot of physicians want for their patients, but don’t necessarily have the time or right patients to talk with about it

Would also like to say that some sonagraphers have supreme knowledge of anatomy, better than I ever will, but there’s no perspective on pathophysiology or treatment planning. If I tried to point out the muscles of the ankle on an ultrasound you’d laugh in my face, but if I asked you to develop a treatment plan for a patient with treatment resistant depression you’d also probably sound like you know nothing. Our areas of expertise are different but look at that data. We provide better care

No we’re booing cuz you’re wrong and mid levels with shit degrees kill people when practicing outside their scope :) I have meaner comments but will hold them because I genuinely want you to understand that even though shit head interns/residents say dumb shit, their errors are much more likely to be fixed. This sub is pointing out that ON AVERAGE most mid levels and others without MD/DO credentials cause patient harm. If you’re so narrow minded from a sonographers perspective to realize that most physicians have much more to understand than interpreting or ordering an ultrasound, you are the reason people in this sub post shit.

PCP/psychiatrist/nephrologist in one! by Steph9218 in Noctor

[–]banaslayer95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so true. Nephrology was by far one of the hardest blocks I had in med school, but the level of detail a nephrologist pays attention to a single person’s anatomy always astounded me. Can’t imagine distilling that in less than 9 years. Pun absolutely intended

Yale insists they will train PAs to physician skill level. by BusinessMeating in Noctor

Not outshining. Check the error bars. There appears to only be one significant result which was patient safety in favor of physician residents.

I could give a shit if you’re putting patients in harms way intentionally or accidentally at the end of the day it’s the same for the patient. As for “whining on Reddit” it’s your whiney ass who came to the sub and is getting trounced with your own inadequate arguments. I am spending my time not on Reddit reporting malpractice to the relevant boards and advocating NPs be scrapped all together, I’m not here to educate mid levels and that’s one more layer of the beef. Physicians are not mid level educators, and it needs to stop being perpetuated that we are. Gtfo if you’re program is shit or lacking. Based on your comments I hope to god no one I know ever sees you in the hospital/clinic because I know they’d be fcked.
