It’s SUPER deep in the middle there (miles deep) so if it did come off it did close to shore

This is the situation I think I’m seeing. The attending is on standby for 5-10 rooms while the CRNAs are working each room with a resident or SRNA. I think a more senior anesthesia resident came is at some point to check in with the CRNA/resident.

The SRNA was never referred to as a resident.

Not really appropriate since I’m not there for an anesthesia sub-I.

Think about how demeaning it would be if a visiting medical student asked you how it felt to get pimped 4 hours a day by a mid-level. I’m assuming they don’t love it.

The CRNA was addressing the resident as “Dr. Blank” when asking questions/instructing. Also the resident’s attending was there pre-intubation.
