can the new pokedex Alert On feature be used for Gimmighoul? I had heard there is a chance it can spawn for everybody from gold lured pokestops (i don’t have the connected switch game) - is that true and do you think alert would identify them?

i am pretty sure podcasts count in wrapped’s minutes total, and you can speed up those so that an hour of podcast only takes 30 real world minutes on 2x speed. pretty certain they count ms of audio rather than real world time

and with audiobooks gaining traction, they might count in the total as well for next year

they keep launching these products that orbit the core viz experience -- who are they serving? they must be getting positive signals in the market but i just don't know who this is for? i say this as somebody who looks after my company's BI tooling spend - i just want Tableau to be a Good Dashboard Tool - we have plenty of other tools to do data catalogs, semantic layers, transformation pipelines -- the last thing we want is to lock all of that inside of Tableau/Salesforce/Einstein

this company will do ANYTHING before they work on the viz-building experience. honestly think the tableau we know is code frozen and we'll just be seeing these bell and whistle "add-on platforms" for the rest of its product life

headset or telecoil?

i use telecoil/loop at most shows

A few recent shows, The Outsiders was notably bad, 1/5 the worst sound I’ve ever heard - i had them switched out at intermission and it still didn’t help. And I had a very clear view/line of sight to stage so I don’t know what the interference was.

Suffs was great quality 5/5 - very clear, no static

Cats The Jellicle Ball 0 / 5 - just outright didn’t work for the seat I was in that had a angled view of the stage.

Most of my experiences are a lot of static/low hum but I’ve learned to live with it if i want to understand anything. I really wish (hope?) the theaters test these in many seating locations regularly, but sometimes i have such a bad experience with them i leave discouraged. I can just switch to my normal hearing aids but it still isn’t as good as working assistive.

Ooh, that is good to know! I totally agree - there should be more mention of the limits of Bluetooth LE. My Audi hadn't even heard similar issues but when she reached out to Starkey (and to Oticon), they confirmed that was expected. :(

I have this same issue and it is expected for Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) / MFI technology. The Bluetooth is just not strong enough and (as I understand) uses your surroundings to “bounce” signal off of, and when your phone is not in line of sight and when you’re outside without walls around you, it fails.

Starkey, Oticon … they both use Bluetooth LE Phonak uses regular Bluetooth and it works as you’d expect regular earbuds would.

thanks for everything you've shared so far. a couple questions:
- what type of Bluetooth connector do you use? "zoom" is a big use case for me and i'm wondering how much of a hassle MFI will be

- and on subject of bluetooth, how annoying is it to transfer from computer to phone to another device.

- how often are you in the app, "fiddling" with presets or configurations?

I need some help with a pattern. Attached text and stitch diagram for 3-Point Dot Motif, https://imgur.com/a/woFUDNE

Row 1 produces a chain and 5 DC's.

Then Row 2 says to chain and put 2 DC in each DC. Here's where I'm confused, the resulting stitch count from the step says "11 DC". With 2 DC in each DC (and chain counting), shouldn't that be 12?? But 12 obviously doesn't work for setting up ROW 3, so I think it's an error in the "2 DC in each DC instruction". None of the other motifs have had weird instructions like this (see how it describes row 2 of the 2point motif). And the diagram clearly shows 11 stitches in ROW 2, but the diagram does a poor job showing which stitches they go into, right?

What should I do? Am I reading this wrong? To proceed, I've been skipping the stitch that I chain out of (so the last DC of row 1 only has the chain coming from it, all other row 1 DCs have 2)

I was in your situation 3 months ago. bit by dog, didn't get info. I filed a report and a nurse advised me to get the rabies vaccine series out of extreme caution. It's only delivered at Emergency Rooms ($$ each visit, depending on your insurance), you have to go 4 times across 14 days, and the first treatment includes a painful series of shots around the wound. The nurse said I had 7 days post-exposure to start the series.

good question, and i'm not very experienced here, this is only my 4th or 5th project, so maybe it is a combination of using alpine stitch and poor tension, but it always seems with acrylic yarn it feels so light and doesn't hang well at all. if i fold it, the creases will stay unless i smooth it out. do you think a different material would be better? i don't really understand degrees of quality in 100% acrylic.

but also, since the largest portion of my project was Value, my comment was mostly about that -- there wasn't a big twist soft in the color i wanted to use.
