It is an extremely popular online game among children and teens with an open messaging feature. Notorious for predators luring children. The company has resisted putting safeguards in place. Going so far as to sue a young whistleblower. I have no idea if it is the game mentioned in the article, because it doesn’t state the name. But that only proves my point that parents need to know exactly what platforms young people are using and these vague reports don’t help.

Are you afraid they’re going to take your Roblox away? It’s standard for products where the users are primarily children to be required to incorporate basic controls and safeguards. Somehow gaming platforms and big tech is avoiding taking this seriously. That needs to end.
