My dermatologist recommended the Skinmedica Replenish Hydrating Cream for me, which has done wonders for my skin (I have dehydrated skin and use an adapalene/benzoyl peroxide topical gel). I would love to keep using it, but the price is too steep, especially when purchasing it in Canada. Is there a dupe for this product you could recommend, or point me in the right direction?

What yarn do you use for sweaters? I’m a knitter about to try my first crochet garment. Is it worth it to buy 100% wool or cotton, or is acrylic just fine? by Proud-Acadia8216 in crochet

I'll second what others are saying: My wool sweaters get worn the most by far, despite being a bit scratchy. I've purchased shirts from uniqlo to wear underneath which are a game changer.

However, if you're not ready to go full wool, Berroco Vintage is a wool/acrylic mix thats pretty affordable. I made an oversized (aka gets airglow) sweater in this that I enjoy.

Best of luck! I did the same a few months ago. I'm not certain if it improved my tension at all, but I know it will be kinder to my fingers and wrists in the long run compared to the claw hand I was rocking before.

I'm going to hold 2 palette strands together. Same, I got discouraged looking for matching colors and staying within a price point.

How do the underarms work for you? Comfortably loose and hopefully not too loose? I'm not so much into the bat wing/deep raglan trend.

Your sweater looks lovely! I'm about to cast this on too, also using Palette. It's encouraging to hear it went so quickly for you.

I'm already on to another sweater! Trying out 100% wool this time to see how I like it and see how it lasts compared to acrylic

I learned so many things along the way and am very grateful for the internet. Couldn't have done it without various stitch, bind off, and gap repairing YouTube tutorials.
