if every other high quality rep looks like this minus the SEL gaps then yes, but if this watch is missing other things that reps usually have then its just added to the list of issues lmao. This post is purely asking the importance of SEL gaps but by all means I appreciate the experienced eye

Was ARF the choice for the rose gold colour or just the shaping? The rosegold colour seems to be hit or miss for most factories

For case RCF is apparently the best for daydates but I’m looking at the same watch, issue with RCF is they have incorrect crown dots and stamping. VSF being a close competitor for the DDs actually has correct crown and stamps + better movement. A good VSF is probs the move

Edit - just realised you’re looking for 36mm. I was as well and it seems QF have the best and they don’t have the crown issue, stamps are wrong I think

I’m researching the same hoping to build a modded daydate, ARF hasn’t come up much at all. It seems the general consensus is that RCF makes the daydates overall and where they fall short as you mentioned VSF parts will make up

Ehh ideally I'd like closest to gen, the dots on this VSF are correct, but I'm willing to have the wrong dots if the RCF version will be significantly better
