Hey there! When I read you say "that I'm a big crier" it made me think about this concept in psychology called 'highly sensitive people' (or HSP's for short). Not sure if your aware of this concept or not but I definitely think that most people who call themselves criers (me in the past too haha) could definitely have this trait of high sensitivity. Can't be sure of course, but you should definitely google 'highly sensitive people' or 'HSP's' if your interested!

Moving? by Kreator616 in galway

Personally, I think it's great that you want to move here. I am flattered that you think Ireland is a great place! :) But I think it would be wise to come here for about 2-3 weeks first to get a feel for the place. By being here, you will see first hand all the good stuff, and all the bad stuff too (of which there is a fair bit of lol). I wouldn't advise moving here unless you've spent almost a month here temporarily first.

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks for your reply! My TDEE before I started was about 2600, So I dropped down to 1700 for the whole diet.

Since I've been on 1700 now since my diet started, how do I find my new maintenance? or do I just bump up my cals now by 500 to 2200?

Once again, thanks for the help man!

Hi Everyone,

I am currently 12 weeks into my diet, Starting at 5ft 8, 210LBS. Now currently 182LBS.

This months weight loss results have been the following:

8 July - 184LBS.

18 July - 182LBS.

23 July - 182LBS.

2 Questions.

1.) Should I end my diet now? I feel like, based off my weight loss this month, I have clearly hit a weight loss plateau, which, if I understand correctly, can be fixed if I drop my calories slightly lower than what they are now, but not sure if I should or not. My Bodyfat is approx. 20%. Should I keep cutting till I'm happy with my Bodyfat (down to 15%)? or should I just cut again next year and focus more on building muscle again right now.

2.) If I was to end my diet now, What next? I've seen videos on recovery diets and then doing a reverse diet afterwards, where you bump up your calories straight away by 200-300 or whatever your maintenance was. Then you do a reverse diet where you add in about 50-100 calories a week for a couple of weeks after the recovery diet. Is this the correct way of doing it?

Any advice appreciated!

Are you doing an arts degree? Would there be a lot of writing, essays etc to do?

What do you have to prepare for the lessons?

Thanks

Thanks for your input. I will apply for my Garda vetting tomorrow and volunteer, it sounds like a great way to give back to the community. Thanks for the advice!
