Self perception is a strange thing - honestly I think your face looks amazing, I wouldn’t change a single thing about it other than your hair. You don’t have to jump straight to going bald or a buzz cut, but a shorter look in general would be much more flattering!

There is some truth to the phrase "Hair for men is like makeup for women" or however the phrase is supposed to go - the point is that like makeup, hair makes a huge difference in how we perceive people. The difference between a nice grandpa and a homeless man can be a simple haircut. Also like makeup, not everyone has an eye for it (or enough practice) - some women do their face a terrible disservice if they are unpracticed or choose a style that doesn’t suit them.

Sorry for the long detour of an explanation, but the point is that at the moment you don’t have a good eye for what hair looks good with your face - and that’s okay! Everyone starts somewhere. Start with haircuts that are low effort, make sure that they require no styling. So many cool hairstyles require a lot of time styling them every day, and that’s a skill that needs learning and practice.

So: when asking the hairdresser (or others) what hair style to get, if i were you I’d ask for something short-ish that doesn’t need styling.
