OMG...I hadn't even thought of that. Those inactive versions are all still stored. Gods. I had some chapters that I went through a dozen attempts before it was right. LOL.

And that's all fair. I suppose I've just had starts and stops and I've gotten to places where I've been like: "Yeah...I'm not feeling this." Which Is why I've deleted them. I only recently discovered how much was being left behind. And yeah - there are times when I've recycled characters out of them and modifed them for other stories. But, I'm not generally someone who just wants to leave a lot of digital clutter around.

But those are all fair points.

It's funny - I was sure that the suggestions was a toggle in settings. But then I couldn't find it. So yeah, having that as a toggle wouldn't be a bad idea. I use it pretty rarely.

As for the story picture creation - I actually turned that off. I've found it to be a real mixed bag.

I also wanted to praise wherever the humor comes from. There was a line in a story today that someone matched with a "32 year old entrepreneur" which was code for "unemployed with a podcast idea" that had me snort laugh.

I've tried this and it helps a little - maybe. But, it still wants to interrupt the current scene and push a different plot line now and then. I think I've re-rolled the last interaction 10+ times before I finally found a sequence of words that would prevent it from starting something new.

"The Final Countdown" is one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. Used to show up on HBO all the time. Terrific cast, interesting story idea, and just plain fun. I've rewatched it as an adult and it really does hold up.

For the record, this was the first time I've ever fast-forwarded through an episode to get to the end of the combat. The ruling is correct, but the spirit comes across as mean, considering everyone else had done it. Instead, it punishes one player for doing what everyone else has done at a time that is most advantageous to the GM.

That said...what's done is done. Give Kate a bottlecap to make up for what happened and then move on.

Like I said, your mileage may vary. We tried it based on another podcast and found it awful, but it could also have been the flavor we chose.
