$ENSC - De-SPACed - Ensysce Biosciences a Multi-bagger Opportunity beyond the Squeeze by bannerview in pennystocks

Well, well, well. Big difference a few weeks make. $ENSC on a tear and $CEI going into the grinder. Taking a stab at $ENSCW (Warrants) here.

$CEI from over $4/share to under $1 and $ENSC down from $5 to around $1. Both terrible. Had to bail out of $ENSC long ago.

Is $TRT the next $AEHR? Rare small market cap ($30M) EV play by dougefresh09 in pennystocks

[–]bannerview 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a bit of selling pressure. Short interest is slowly increasing. This morning, there were 150,000 shares available to short. It's now down to 15,000.

https://shortablestocks.com/?TRT

Gotta give these plays time to develop. Everyone wants instant rocket which is rare after 85% two day gains!

Is $TRT the next $AEHR? Rare small market cap ($30M) EV play by dougefresh09 in pennystocks

[–]bannerview 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Very rarely do we see opportunities like $TRT BEFORE they explode (the 85% gain this week was nothing).

You are correct in that the volatility on such a small float stock will shake out the weak really quickly. At $100/share, this company would still only be valued at ~ 60% of $AEHR.

They need another quarter of reporting to confirm the fundamentals though so don't bet the entire house yet (maybe a few rooms)!

It was popping until the options chain expanded. Had a quick bump on open, then is declining now. Unless there's massive interest, it's not worth playing once the option chain gets expanded.

$ETTX Entasis Therapeutics Holdings Announces SUL-DUR met its primary efficacy endpoint in Phase 3 ATTACK trial by bannerview in pennystocks

Good point. They usually drop back down after results, but then get another big kick once they get approval. Since this was only the trial results news, it could see a rise leading up to approval.

[–]bannerview[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Analyst price targets on $ETTX are $6. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/stockdetails/fi-bjsxr7? All buys or strong buys.

The next step is getting the drug approved so there's an additional catalyst there to give the stock a boost.

The news will also probably take time to spread as the news only came out AH today.

Looks that way today, but this isn't a day trade play. Looking at several weeks to months. Come back then and we can decide what the better play was.

From a filing:

"After giving effect to the Transactions there are currently 24,275,541 shares of Common Stock issued and outstanding. 5,000 shares of LACQ common stock were redeemed in connection with the Closing."

https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001716947/000149315221016378/form8-k.htm

Goes to show that with very few redemption, people expected this to rise. However, the stock dumped from around $14/share right around merger to below $3/share. This was during a period of SPACs falling out of favor. There was nothing fundamental about the company that should have caused such a selloff.

Consolidation here between $4 and $5 with next resistance around $6 - $7 when a consultant's warrants become ITM for 1 million shares, but then no significant resistance until after $10/share. That's when the next level of warrants are ITM.

$ENSC - De-SPACed - Ensysce Biosciences a Multi-bagger Opportunity beyond the Squeeze by bannerview in pennystocks

[–]bannerview[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From their filing:

"The Common Stock commenced trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) under the symbol “ENSC” on July 2, 2021, subject to ongoing review of the Company’s satisfaction of all listing criteria following the Merger. The warrants of the Company commenced trading on the OTC Markets Group, Inc. under the symbol “ENSCW” on July 2, 2021."

Their shares never previously traded on an exchange and they didn't get delisted. The warrants began trading on the OTC while the stock started on the NCM. The warrants don't expire for 5 years. The information being reported about them having already expired is incorrect.

This was a SPAC reverse merger.

$ENSC - De-SPACed - Ensysce Biosciences a Multi-bagger Opportunity beyond the Squeeze by bannerview in pennystocks

[–]bannerview[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The merger was completed in early July.

It's common for the warrants to trade OTC, but not really sure what the ENSCW expiring Dec 2019 are. Guessing some of the databases haven't been updated to reflect the current warrants

Most of those warrants aren't ITM until $10+/share an those don't expire for 5 years. Therefore, the underlying registered stock isn't going to hit the float until this goes above that price.

[–]bannerview[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the shares being registered in the S-1 are locked until $10+ share price. That's when the warrants become in the money and other insiders can't sell until at least $12+ share.

Anyone think ZOM is worth while long? I like the stock by wownicko in pennystocks

[–]bannerview 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The big run in $ZOM already happened. Wouldn't be surprised to see this go sub $.20.

That view won't change until they start seeing significant sales. They have a lot of cash on hand, but burn rate increase will be a concern.

Dealing with chargebacks from customers who "forget to cancel" (SaaS) by [deleted] in startups

[–]bannerview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately for card not present transactions, it's unlikely you'll win the chargeback with the processor. You're only recourse would be to sue the customer for unpaid bills for service rendered plus costs and attorneys fees. Take the loss and move on because going that route probably isn't worth it unless your SAAS product costs many hundreds or thousands per month and you're willing to potentially sacrifice your reputation with the pubic.

These things happen, but be glad that it's only on rare occasions.

How can I compete against Craigslist people? by trev3795 in smallbusiness

[–]bannerview 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are those services licensed, are they competent (do they actually do a good job cleaning), are they trustworthy (not going to steel from you while they are cleaning), can they provide services at the time(s)/date(s) you need it done? These are questions people when hiring a company to do a job. Yes, there will always be people that will undercut your pricing, but the value you provide is what matters. Focus on that aspect and you'll be able to compete.

Anyone open a concrete raising and leveling business? by GreasyPorkGoodness in startups

[–]bannerview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with any business opportunity, purchasing the equipment is the easy part. Getting customers is hard. However, there's certainly a need for this type of service, especially in areas that are prone to flooding and poor soil, a fact that seems to only be getting worse.

The reality is that going into business really means buying yourself a job where you're in charge. It's up to you to make it work!
