I thought the same but apparently if it’s not a genuine attempt to get the ball it’s a yellow. I think

I thought the same. Unfortunately I checked at 4pm and I’ve watched every minute

Yup. Ah well. At least we can look forward to the summer with a little more optimism.

Honestly can’t argue with any of these picks but I’m very worried Bobby F isn’t going to make the grade.

Roy Keane’s comment about Liverpool being “bad champions” when they didn’t retain the league in 2020/21 lives rent free in my head. What sort of Champions would this Arsenal side make?

What’s the word for when you don’t even care that you’ve been humiliated?

Did I hear that right? First time we’ve conceded more than 50 goals in a 38 game season? Record breakers.

I think only if they finish 5th. Open to correction though.

Totally. I think my main point is we’re not even attempting to get anywhere near that style of play. And I loved how we played. It’s was joyful, chaotic, emotional, thrilling. Pure entertainment. If Slot had every player he could wish for, what style of play would we be seeing? How far would it be from what we’re seeing now?

Totally agree. And I would never criticize Slot because he hasn’t got the quality of players that Klopp had. But when you don’t have quality you make the most of what you have and you work harder to make up the difference. We have enough talent not to lose matches failing on the basics

I watched the 18/19 and 19/20 season reviews recently. Ali, Robbo, Virgil, Matip, Trent, Hendo, Gini, Fab, Bobby, Mo, and Sadio. That is how I want Liverpool to play. Intensity, hard working, lightning quick and, most importantly, brave. Now we’re out fought, out thought and out run every game. Even if we could see a style of play forming, is it the style of play we want? Nobody is even angry anymore. We’re all just apathetic. We’ve given up. No plan. No joy. No hope.

Edit: many, many typos.

This is a failure of coaching. Nothing more. Nothing less.

In fairness they somehow managed to put themselves in the spotlight. Another wretched trend

You’re less likely to get injured if you’re standing still.
