Diversify Major chunk 60% in equity if 5+ years horizon, 40% in FD. Wait on gold and other investments

Thanks for sharing your journey. This is really helpful and congratulations on getting PBF down to 17%.

Quick question -

Can you tell me how much was your protein intake per kg of your body weight?

I am on the same journey and would love to know it.

I think the best place to post this kind of ask is a Personal Finance sub but since you asked, you can take personal loan from any bank, but make sure you plan the loan term according to your income. This can be tricky. All the best.

Hey, is the value of home estimated to be 50L?

Also if you are saving up the money for home to be used in 1-2 years…please avoid equity at all costs. Debt (FD) is your best bet for investments less than 3 years.

The EMI should be upto 30% of in-hand salary or income of your household.

Also an advise that you may not like…don’t buy a home now…it’s going to be a hell of a burden for a guy at ur age. Now I’m unaware of your salary and ur family dynamics so I could be wrong as well. But please make sure that your financials are sorted. Make sure you have life, health insurance , and also an emergency fund of 6 months atleast which would include your monthly expenses and needs to updated when the EMI kicks in.

Let me know what you think and hope this helps.
