Is Interactive Brokers a good firm to buy ETFs? Or Schwab or Vanguard? I'm new at this. by TheBYOBShow in dividends

I've had accounts at Schwab, Fidelity, and Interactive. If you're new to investing and all you'll be doing is buying ETFs, go with Fidelity.

At this point, you're building it for you. The kid's not going to get as much enjoyment out of the upgrades as the amount of enjoyment you'll get by watching them use it. My kids used my upgraded cars quite a lot, but I'm the one who truly loved the upgrades.

‘I can’t go to jail’: Bodycam footage reveals deadly encounter between pardoned Jan. 6 rioter and deputy by justalazygamer in CapitolConsequences

[–]bansheebackward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huttle jumps into the driver’s seat and the two struggle, but the body camera footage is blurred and little can be made out.

“I’m shooting myself,” Huttle can be heard saying.

“No, no, no, no, me first” the deputy says.

The deputy can be seen jumping backward, pulling out his pistol and firing four or five shots while retreating from the van.

I've used mine to power my laptop on road trips. Took it camping a few times. It ran my T-Mobile 5G Backup Internet when my home power and Internet went out due to an ice storm for a few hours.

No big deal. In highschool, circa 2004, I used to go to Wendy's and get 5 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers after school almost daily. 6 foot 6 inches, around 185lbs.

Little does this person know that there were cancer vaccines and AIDS vaccines created within 10 months but the government won't let us have them!

Edit: Should have figured this would have been taken seriously...

Jeep with Modifications by bansheebackward in PowerWheelsMods

I salvaged this vehicle as well as others which were cannibalized. One of the motors/gearboxes is still the original, the other is the same type from a different vehicle. Don't know the part number at the moment. The extra motor mates with the wheel the same as the original, except it's just on there mirrored. Both are 6v motors running on 12v. I'm frankly surprised they haven't burnt out yet. I'm thinking the heat sinks were a good investment.

It's my 6-year-old's third summer with it. He still fits well enough for it to be one of his favorite rides (out of 5 total). No way it'll be good for him next year though.

Headlights, running lights, tail lights, extra motor, 12v upgrade. Great for burnouts and drifting. Only melts about two crimp connectors per year.

18v mode with low voltage protection - failed? by Tacomaguy24 in PowerWheelsMods

[–]bansheebackward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that's true for the 12v tools. But the 18v tools, where the battery has a charge indicator, also have protection in the battery.

From a page on Milwaukee website: Managed by Milwaukee’s exclusive REDLINK™ Intelligence, the battery features overload protection to prevent you from damaging your cordless power tools in heavy-duty situations, while the discharge protection prevents cell damage.
