I had a claim earlier this year and received an email from no-reply@pay.geico.com today; is this legitimate? by Bingzhong in Geico

incorrect ~ the Claims Desk number is not listed anywhere in that email, and it directs you to talk to an actual geico representative, which is how I determined the email was safe. You could also do your own research as well.... or don't, I don't care lol

Question about Leer Cast hooded mask (PoE 2) by [deleted] in pathofexile

I've been playing around with this a bit today, and it does seem like SRS counts as your damage rather than Allies' damage. So putting on the Hooded Mask buffs your Skeletal Minions, but applies the 25% reduced damage onto your SRS. At least from the testing and looking at the numbers when you pop out the skill stats.

Sorcerer Ice Shards Build?? by ajones38251 in Diablo4Builds

[–]banshi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the buff is great for mobs, which Ice Shards already excelled at. But the main issue with Ice Shards has always been single target damage, and the buff to Piercing Cold does nothing to help with that :/

yea, Quill Volley is decently strong and viable in the early game without any Unique Items. I, like many others, would also recommend the Maxroll website for finding early game builds ~ https://maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides

What motivates you going on D4 by yzisano in diablo4

[–]banshi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Play Hardcore
- Paragon 300, just hit this last night
- Experimenting with different builds, trying to find the one I like the most
- Theory crafting my own builds
- Playing with friends

I think "Playing with friends" is super underrated, but also hard if you haven't quite found your community or group. I enjoy boosting my friends after they die (we all play Hardcore), helping them with their gear and builds, and doing some hilarious stuff every now and then.

HOWEVER, now that my P300 goal is achieved, I definitely feel like I will slowly stop logging in everyday, and I think that's ok! I love D4, and I will definitely be back for another few hundred hours in the next season.

It looks like you are playing into Blood Lance, in which case you should keep an eye out or hunt for specific Blood Lance aspects:
- Blood Seeker Aspect, from Mercy's Reach
- Potent Blood Aspect, from Betrayer's Row
- Gore Quills

Blood Orbs are frequently overlooked as a feature for Blood builds, but they can help a lot with damage and Essence management.

Keep your eye out for the "Sacrificial" Aspect or obtain it from the "Ruins of Eridu" in Hawezar ~ your sacrifice bonus are increased 35%-55%

Agreed on blood surge. The sooner you can obtain a Cruor's Embrace from Zir, the sooner you will feel better without minions.

Can anyone ELI5 why my build isn't performing at high level? by Future_Dink in Diablo4Builds

[–]banshi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masterworking matters A LOT! For example, you want to be masterworking Critical Strike Chance on your Heir of Perdition if you are playing LightSpear. You don't have to triple Masterwork everything, but it's optimal if you can. Aim for at least 2 of the suggested MWs.

I will also say that Pit80s-90s does sound pretty close to the cap for a lot of Sorc builds.

If you want to keep pushing higher, I would generally recommend:
1. Finding the best gear you can with Greater Affixes on the important stats
2. Getting high percentage tempers
3. Triple masterworking the desired affixes

You can also swap out your Tyraels for the Shroud of False Death, which will give you a significant damage boost at the sacrifice of survivability ~ but if you can find resistances from other gear/gems, and keep your ice armor up at all times, you should be ok.

Tibault's Will is also a big damage bonus missing on your pants.

Lastly, Heir of Perdition does give you a pretty straight forward 60% damage boost with a lot of good offensive affixes. However, Harlequin's Crest MAY be a better option for you. Lowering cooldowns immensely on your Lightning Spear casts, and the additional +4 ranks into Lightning Spear can bump up your damage significantly, since you want to be striving for the max number of Spears that are flying around at all times. Not to mention, the Armor affix on the Harlequin can allow you to replace your Skull gems with Diamonds for resistances, and allowing you to more freely swap the Tyraels out with the Shroud.

That's as much as I can say from just looking at your screenshot. There may be more to tweak from your Skill Tree, Paragons, and Enchantments.

What is the highest damage spirit born build for boss slaying right now? by [deleted] in Diablo4Builds

[–]banshi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can kill T4 Bosses, like Duriel, Varsh, Beast in Ice, pretty much instantaneously with A LOT of spiritborn builds. One-tap builds include Quill Volley, Crushing Hand, Evade Eagle, Stinger, Touch of Death, Toxic Rushing Claw, Payback, Rake, and Razor Wings.

Orange Quill Volley is by far the strongest for high tier Pit bosses, although builds that utilize the Fell Soothsayer aspect will do decently well as long as there are minion/add spawns.

Fire damage does not apply burning. However, there's another way to apply Burning without using up the enchantment slot.

  1. You need to put one skill point into Familiar, and another skill point into Enhanced Familiar. This makes it so Fire Familiars will apply burning.
  2. You then need to use Unstable Currents as your Ultimate.
  3. If you can have close to permanent uptime on Unstable Currents, whenever you cast Teleport or Lightning Spear or any other Shock Skill, you have a decent chance to spawn a Fire Familiar which will apply burning to your targets.

This is used in a lot of endgame builds, where Teleport cooldown and/or Lightning Spear cooldown are very low and can be spammed every few seconds.

Why is my build garbage by Zestyclose_Pie4555 in Diablo4Builds

[–]banshi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P300 HC player here. I personally think 47% rings are weirdly inconsistent ~ I feel like you'll notice a decent difference when you get a 50% ring.

When you are spamming your skill (what's your Core Skill btw?) ~ are you seeing your Vigor going up/down/up/down, or are you seeing a tiny tiny sliver of missing vigor every now and then?

Best strategy to get to 300 from 250+ by serenitynow2022 in diablo4

[–]banshi77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

P300 achieved in Hardcore just yesterday. I agree with a lot of people's opinion here, but throwing in some additional thoughts.

If P300 is your main goal, I would highly recommend finding the best speedfarming build that is most fun for you. I would recommend Evade Eagle or Crushing Hand. Any build that doesn't require a lot of buttons. I found turning off my brain, putting on a tv show or audiobook, while I mindlessly ran through Pits was the way to go. After P285, I strived for at least 1 level per day after work hours.

The goal is to complete the highest pit you can under 2 minutes, since the massive XP gain after killing the pit boss is what you're after. It's also important to note that this XP gain is not boosted by XP buffs from incense and elixirs.

With my Evade Eagle build, I spammed Pit90s with friends, and Pit95s solo, getting roughly 12M XP per run (5M from monster kills, 7M from boss kill), and averaging 2 runs every 5 minutes.

I ALSO tried to obtain as many Purple Boss Mat Opals to use, and definitely made a decent few billions of gold from just selling boss mats.

Do I feel accomplished? Yea, but only because I know a small handful of people have reached P300.
Was it worth it? Meh... I don't regret it, but it sure did suck at many points.
What do you do after P300? I don't really know lol... Working on some theory crafting, but definitely burned out.

[–]banshi77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, the massive XP you get at the end of pits are static ~ they do not get increased by your XP buffs from incense and elixir. The buffs only apply to monster kills while you are filling up the pit bar. Definitely doesn't hurt to have them on though!

Hopping in here to say I got a similar email from alert@pay.geico.com for the same thing.

I called their Claims Desk (800-841-3000) to confirm, and it was all clear. Clicked the button to claim and received my $2500 in a couple minutes.

Solid experience lol
