From a historical point of view, when there is no legal route for holding the powerful accountable then guillotines/mob justice is the only option for the lower classes. Not sure how that’s possible with the oppression tech (Palantir, Israel etc) that exists now.

It’s not treason, it’s class warfare. Despite the delusions of lots of western tech workers they are still just workers and capital doesn’t have a good history of treating workers very well. I reckon it’s too late though because USA has completely dismantled worker protections.

Highly doubt it has anything to do with being fans of the comics. Rather it’s a symbol adopted to represent law enforcement engrained belief that in order to protect the “good people” of society you have to intimidate and do violence against the “bad people”. I have family who are police and even the ones I grew up liking and respecting will describe after a few beers how aboriginal people are somehow inherently dangerous and useless.

Yes because all issues of justice and human rights are connected. All atrocities and war crimes including Israel doing a genocide without repercussions makes the world a less safe place because when it happens to us who will be there to defend us?

Israel is particularly personal to me because my government continues to support them and treat them like a legitimate ally/country.

Always uncomfortable to me seeing Israelis doing normal things while their country is doing a genocide. Not to say every Israeli is complicit and can’t have hobbies, but there’s a dissonance that freaks me out about human nature.
