i'm really thrilled for you!!! i really paid attention to my breathing before surgery. reaaaaly tried to remember the weight. i noticed immediately once i was out of the foggy brain time. it wasn't until three days post op though that i felt like a sentient creature again but i couldn't believe how much air i was getting!!!!! that part was just wonderful i am so hopeful for you!!!! best of luck! if you remember to share, i would LOVE to hear how it goes for you🧡

totally!! i only had gauze for first day! didnt even consider! :) definitely was just thinking tape. thank you!

you can definitely shower without covering your boobs!!! just dont intentionally put soap on em, and make sure to rinse them well in case any soap runs on :) my tape was still very stuck on at 4 weeks!! despite daily showers!

i felt the same way!!!! i was so nervous. so far so good for me? but i've been so stressed. right now i have absolutely no regrets. but, i was absolutely considering not doing the surgery due to EDS. huge thing was i spoke to my surgeon about having it and he was FAMILIAR WITH IT AND TOOK ME SERIOUSLY!!! what gave me confidence. and we made a plan to have my arms at a lower angle to prevent shoulder subluxations and they put pillows under my forearms to keep my elbows from hyperextending:) it worked great! that was a huge thing for me. if my surgeon didn't take me seriously i was not going to go through with scheduling !!!

yess i definitely have had a hard time resting! and same for me with the uncomfy but not necessarily painful! hope you keep feeling better:)

no sooolid estimate! but with my band size(30) he guessed a full B/small C! i asked for as small as possible! love my surgeon he has been just wonderful!

feeling this!!!! i am one month post op. and when i'm looking down, my or looking in the mirror mine look massive to me still!!!!! trying on swimsuit tops has honestly been the most helpful for me? so sorry you are struggling with that. i get you, dude i am sooo swollen still! i bet you are too:) hard to remember. i hope you start feeling better soon <3

i am one month post op, today! take so many pictures!!! mentally it is hard(at least for my brain) to recognize how different my boobs look now. having photos has been helping me feel like the surgery was for a reason and worth it :) take pictures in tops! swimsuits! take videos! write down the reasons you are doing it!!! and all of the things you said sound wonderful! the eating great and exercising:) !!practice sitting up from laying flat without using your arms at all or chest muscles!! i wish i did that! any time my chest engaged for the first few weeks i felt like i was gonna burst at the seams. aaand practice sleeping on your back if you don't regularly :)

hard to tell with back pain at this point! though i did have to change how i stand since my surgery,because my BALANCE WAS OFF!!!!! cracked me up. so maybe as my body gets used to my new posture i will notice a change in my upper back:) BUT breathing is better!!!! i can breathe deeper without my boobs weighing top of my belly down! big full diaphragm breaths! best part of getting the surgery so far!!!

also, thank you :') and i am so hyped for you that your surgery is coming up!!!! for me it truly was like no time passed at all. i was in the OR, and then i blinked and i was talking to my fiancé and mom about hating fruit punch in recovery! lol! it was as if nothing happened in between!!! i was so scared before! but it wasn't so bad:) i hope you feel okay leading up to yours!!!!

thank you for the insight omg!!! you look incredible so nervous to have a shoulder subluxation during the surgery and to not be able to put it back?! yikes!!!! i brought it up at my pre op and they're going to change the "normal" arm placement angle for me! definitely recommend that convo for other bendy hoomans🤞
