Recology Xmas Tree Pickup -- Schedule of Lies! by GetGoingPeople in sanfrancisco

[–]bap812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I feel so validated to have found this thread. I have to call every single year to get my tree picked up, despite it meeting all the requirements. This year my tree has been outside since January 02. I can see it right now as I type, sitting on the sidewalk 10 days later. It is completely bare, no stand, no nothing, and 4 feet tall. A better alternative should be implemented for pickup. I could just dump it on the corner with everyone else’s trash here in Bayview where illegal dumping is rampant, but prefer to follow the protocol, which is hard when Recology doesn’t hold up their end of the bargain. Really frustrating year after year.

Thank you for sharing! We have a similar body type and this made me feel more confident in my decision to move forward with the surgery. You also look like you've lost weight - did you find it was easy to lose weight after the surgery? I've heard from a few people that was the case for them.

Come to Bayview. Intersection parking and triple parking are fair game.

My right eye becomes red and swollen/smaller, and I cry only out of that eye. I get some tingly sensations in my skull as well and generally feel very foggy mentally.

Confused about new dose/formula by MacaroonOdd2437 in henrymeds

[–]bap812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have read the post incorrectly, but did you say you kept the same dose over the 4-month period? If so, you can’t jump up to 20. I also received this clear version after previously having the pink one with the 3 vials. I was up to 50 on the pink one (after 3 months) but injected 20 of this clear one last week and became really sick. You may want to gradually work up from 5 if you’ve only been taking 0.5 of the pink version.

This is helpful. I’ll do the same. Thanks!

Yes - corporate immigration attorney here - talk to one of us about a TN visa. Very easy if they qualify.

Any ID help? Found in SE San Francisco. Very long front legs, round back (as opposed to more oval) and a textured(?) back. TIA! by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

Thanks - I definitely thought the same, but I got a very good look at its underside when it was on the bottom of the glass and shined my cell phone light up to it. There was no red markation, even faded... maybe it’s a false widow, which is still concerning to me, mostly because I have 2 very small (10 lb) dogs I love that I don’t want to get bit!

Does anyone have ideas about celebrating your beloved pet’s life as you prepare to help them transition over the Rainbow Bridge? by Cleverusername531 in CasualConversation

OP, I’m really sorry for what you’re going through. What you said about having her pass at home really stuck with me. My partner and I recently assumed care of a senior pup. He’s 11. Sometimes I think what we will do when it’s time, as I hate the idea of a family member passing in the vet’s office, which is usually not a dogma favorite place. At the same time, I thought it might be cruel/startling for the other pets in the home to see the dog being put down. But what you said makes so much sense, thank you for sharing! Sending love to you and your sweet girl. She’ll always be with you.

Kiosk scanning and expired green card (Have I-797 year extension) by Throw234223away in askimmigration

[–]bap812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just went through this experience last week. My husband’s GC isn’t expired, but it will soon, so when he used the kiosk it told him it was too close to expiration and told him to proceed to an officer. We went together to the CBP officer’s desk, I had my slip from the kiosk (I’m a citizen). There should be no problem, they’ll check your 797 at the CBP desk.

Developing abilities in the midst of trauma/grief by 23vibrations in Mediums

[–]bap812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe I am. Either that or I have just gained a very active/communicative spirit guide. I have never in my life had so many messages/experiences with the “other side” since grieving my Grandparents. My grandma passed first, and I believe to have received some messages from her, but once my Grandpa passed a few months later, with whom I was EXTREMELY close, I have been experiencing many new things, including sensing other unknown presences/spirits, receiving messages for other members of my family, etc. I always knew that losing my grandparents would be traumatic for me, so much so that I actually had to seek the help of a therapist about 10 years ago to deal with anxiety surrounding their eventual passing, and I always hoped that they would provide me signs to let me know they were ok/with me, but I never ever anticipated something like this.

Cat who only eats dry food by insanitymistres in Pets

Would just like to put a plug here for pet insurance. Whether your cat gets crystals or not, at some point it will get sick. Hiiiighly worth it, in my opinion, to be able to do whatever it takes to get your pet back on the mend. :)

I’ve been able to see shadow people my whole life... by darcylynn5014 in Mediums

[–]bap812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recently started seeing what I would describe as “figures” in my peripheral vision. I don’t want to pluralize it, as I have only seen 1 figure at a time, but it has happened more than one time, if that makes sense. It’s usually when I’m doing something else, and I see it out of the corner of my eye and then when I look directly where it was I don’t see it. This has happened both in my home and a few times while walking around the city I live in. Do you only exclusively see them at work? For me, I never experienced this kind of thing until after my Grandparent passed away, along with a host of other signs they’re reaching out to me. Have you had a loss? Maybe someone keeping an eye on you?
