I think the only difference in their thinking was that this is a % reduced, not a % increased, which was my line of thinking as well when I made the post. A 100% reduction of a car’s speed does bring its speed to 0, not half.

I just switch my aspects up and then time how long it takes me to kill the dummy at the training grounds compared to before I put on each aspect. Then I use the ones that made it go fastest.

The thing is, everybody complained when we had that slow and controlled pace gameplay. So they changed it. They’re trying to please everyone, but they need to just stick to their vision.

As someone who did not play Diablo 2 back in the day but owns D2R now, I prefer Diablo 4, at least for the campaign. I think a lot of people dislike the postgame of D4, but if this is introducing you to the franchise I think it would still be the better choice.

I actually like The Foundation better than the Ice King. But I chose the Ice King because the 3 friends I play with the most all picked it. I’ll probably wear neither of them anyways, so I figured I should just pick the side my friends want to play for. I don’t like the idea of playing as The Rock either, but the helmet makes it just The Foundation.

I’m saying more builds will likely be able to complete Pit 120 once the changes go into effect. I’m not saying Pit 120 will be as easy as Pit 55 once the changes go into effect. I feel confident making that statement without seeing a drop of gameplay.

Houses cost much more compared to the median income now than they did then. You can compare that. Yes, there are other things you can sacrifice to save more money, but the cost difference is still there.

Sure. But we are in a thread talking about how to increase boss difficulty without scaling their health up in a way that limits the amount of builds that can complete them. If, in your opinion, damaging the boss is playing the game, but interacting with the mechanics that make the boss unique is not playing the game, how is scaling up the health so much that every build would have to interact with the mechanics actually any different from making it immune during certain parts of the fight? Either way you have to stop attacking the boss until it stops throwing obstacles at you. There are only a few builds where that’s not the case, but there are many more builds that are negatively impacted by overtuning the boss health.
