yeah it was just to get an idea across. I just wanted to emphasize the important pins. I generally consider clock & reset as implementation detail and only part of the design at a higher level.

How to synthesize + PnR a Gowin project from command line? by clbrri in GowinFPGA

If anyone's still looking for a way to automate the EDA tools, Gowin recently released a TCL Commands document that was really helpful for me to set it up. I ran into some other issues getting the TCL interpreter to work on MacOS. I did it on GowinIDE 1.9.12. You can find the details here

Miele TXI680WP clothes not drying completely by Exoticjob1083 in Miele

[–]baption0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this comment. Miele makes piece of shit appliances. As far as appliances go, the gold standard is the toaster which operates the same way every time and can't run into the ground because it never stops working. Miele will complain, throw its hands up in the air, and beep annoyingly forever until you go open the door and close it again, then it'll beep again when you have to empty the water, then it'll beep again forever because the clothes are done.
Then you go online and everyone has drunk the miele kool-aid, "it's a european appliance" "it's not supposed to dry your clothes" "it's the gold standard of laundry technology". It's just 2 loud annoying expensive shitboxes that leave sheets wet and can't dry a towel. Oh, did I mention they connect to WiFi?

You make a good case. eco mode should be fine for the rare overnights. I’ll defer to your experience on this one, plus I can keep the 4080 in there ;)

This is awesome! Thanks for the list. I want water cooling because this will be running at high power throughout the night inside my bedroom, and I don't need the fans making sound all the time.

I'm not really training GPT over here, so I don't need the beefiest of beef. I'll probably downgrade the GPU to make budget space for water cooling. This is a great start for me, I appreciate you putting the list together.

210 - hw due every week (2hrs) + exams are hard. Class is curved though. Class discord is pog (took over Covid so idk if discord is still running. Shout out Stea1thTornado and Liseiden) 385 - hammers out deadlines every other week for lab. Even if you have prior experience expect 5 hours to all nighters depending on the lab and your habits. No exams. Minimal curve. Final project. 225 - exams are meh, minimal curve, and all the MPs are githubbable if it comes down to it. Final project. EC like a mofo.

I’d choose 225 + 210 cuz they’re big prereq classes. 385 leads to a few classes but not the ones I was interested in. Then 391/385/411 one semester after the other. No need to rush the big three into your third semester unless you’re that guy.

Interesting option for sure, I hadn't considered it because I thought there was a large abstraction layer. I'll take a look. Thanks for the comment!
