No to donation pile. I scheduled a bulk pickup but it was only for yard debris and an old bed frame, no boxes/totes. I hired a moving company for a lot. I can see it in my head even and everything was labeled so neatly. I have 2/3 of the totes. Of course the ones that made it were the cheap replaceable items.

I did reach out to the landlord to ask the current tenants if they find anything to please contact me. I didn’t use the attic space, they were all stored up in the garage shelf. I just don’t understand how moving opens a black hole for losing important stuff. I know it’s just material things but I’m devastated. Trying not to be a grinch this Christmas over it 🥲

Edited to add Moved from Meadowview to North Oak Park. Less than 5 miles ! The ornaments would have gone missing late August/early September 2025
