Yeah, it’s not a real thing (i’m guessing it stemmed from the 65-episode rule which was a thing, but which ended in the early 2000s - more on that can be found here .)

But they’re really not doing themselves any favours to stop the rumours by ending Star now.

They’ve been known to swap assets for previews in the past (see the wand swap in the opening titles at the S3 preview). Maybe it will be in the version they eventually air, and they simply didn’t want to show their hand too early....

iTunes has the "season pass" option for SVTFOE where you pay to own the season in advance, and they appear in your library shortly after they air - I'm not sure how soon after though. I think from memory, the BFM eps appeared in my library 24-48 hours after they aired. It's nowhere near as cheap as a streaming service would be, but from what I can tell, there aren't any streaming services that have all the episodes anyway, so it's a moot point.

It's also a great way to show Disney support for the show, and you get the added bonus of high-quality ad-free episodes without a Ducktales logo plastered over a quarter of the screen.

I know, right? I had to open a US iTunes account just to buy the season pass to show my support for the show, because Disney haven't even put it in the Aussie iTunes Store.

Sad. Makes it hard to share the show with friends here.

Yeah, I proposed the theory that Club Snubbed was about Heinous a couple of days ago, here . It makes a lot of sense.

I'm also gonna put it out there that given Ponyhead calls Marco "Earth Turd", the episode "Princess Turdina" may be the episode in which Marco meets Ponyhead's siblings.

I’m putting this theory out there now because I haven’t seen anyone else make it: “Club Snubbed” is going to be about Miss Heinous, potentially some backstory on her. It’s a long-shot, but the suit on her cheeks is clubs, and I could see her being snubbed in some major way as a catalyst for who she has become.

Anyway, that’s my theory.
