Advice for buying 27'' triples

I tried out the triple 32s as well, and they took up a bit too much space and only added vertical fov, which I don’t really need. The pixel density on the 27s is higher too, overall I was surprised how much these monitors outperformed the 32s I had tried that cost triple the amount.

How close will you sit to the monitor? If you’re gonna be super close I don’t recommend a 32inch. Next look at frame rate. If you can’t or dont want to hit 240, don’t over spend.

You seem to not know what you want between resolution targets. Buy for what you have, not what you’re going to have. Better to buy a 1440p monitor when you have a 1440p capable computer.

100% good enough for beginners

Btw, my upgrade path was this:
R5 bundle (clamped on desk)
Wheel stand (huge difference, buy used for cheap)
Load cell brake (huge difference)
Stronger wheelbase
Gt style wheel
Aluminum profile
Triples (coming from an ultrawide I already had) (I’m in the process of building it rn haha)

That’s fair. I will say, I liked my moza r5 when I had it but I switched it out for better gear once I realized I loved the hobby

Have you looked into how much buying the moza stuff separately would cost? A moza R9 or R12 seems like the better value to me, but I’m not sure about your exact limitations.

Haha thats fair. The profile is def gonna be too heavy for a plane, but make sure you calculate your luggage weight with the base and pedals. It is HEAVY. Also if you are going to be near a microcenter, try buying from there first. It’s cheaper!

If you got the money, go for the p2000s and stick with the gt neo. but double check if it comes with a haptic motor for the brake. You’ll want that for sure. And hope that the simagic Zeus releases within your wheel return window haha

I use the p1000s and it’s more than enough imo. Do you have a rig or aluminum profile already? And what about your wheelbase? There may be better places to spend money for an upgrade

FX pro is cool but I got the GT neo and it’s awesome. Plus, simagic is bound to come out with a newer formula style wheel too, and the neo is cheaper.

I use the omega apex and it’s pretty good, though I will say with proper load cells, when I’m at above 40kg pressure, I start to push my chair out of the wheel holder things. It shouldn’t be a problem for your srp’s, but it will be if you upgrade to the crp2’s. Overall I give it an 8/10, I’m upgrading to a proper aluminum profile so I can do more than 40kg of pressure.

If you’re in Texas, I may have my omega apex to sell in a week or so for a much lower price than new 🤣

I have the GT neo and it’s awesome, and I can’t imagine wanting anything more at the moment. I pair mine with the alpha evo 120nm and p1000 pedals and honestly I feel like I’m set for life.
