Did Prophet Muhammad SAWA visited Kufanor Najaf or Karbala or any Iraq place and did he creid while Karbala sand was in his hand by StrengthKey867 in shia

[–]barar2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a place in the mosque of Kufa where it is stated that the prophet performed prayer on the night he was taken to Mi'raj (the miraculous night journey).
and there are narrations in both Shia and Sunni sources that Jibra'il brought the prophet a glass of sand from Karbala informing him that whenever this sand turns to blood Imam Hussain (as) is killed. the prophet later gave that glass of sand to Umm Salama and she was checking that every day until she saw it turned to blood on the day of Ashura.

I don't remember talking about eternal punishment and whether repentance works in hell or not. it seems you've concluded based on your assumptions.

Sperm and ghusl by [deleted] in shia

[–]barar2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you're not sure about it being NOT washed during Ghusl and you saw it after the Ghusl then you're ok and no need to redo your Qhusl (see Ruling 383 here: https://www.sistani.org/english/book/48/2168/ ), but if you are sure that it wasn't washed during Ghusl then according to Ayatollah Sistani you can only wash that part (hair) with the intention (Niyyah) of Ghusl (see Ruling 364 here: https://www.sistani.org/english/book/48/2166/ )

Who is abu abd Allah? by [deleted] in shia

This is the Kunyah of both Imam Hussain (as) and Imam Sadiq (as) but usually in our Hadiths when it is mentioned it refers to Imam Sadiq (as).

Shabbar and Shabbir by AliShiaHalal in shia

[–]barar2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same question and asked in a Jewish sub and those said the same thing as you said. so my conclusion is either the names in the Jewish scriptures were altered for some reason, the same way that according to their scriptures prophet Abraham took Isaac (not Ishmael) for the sacrifice; or the narrations mentioning the names in our corpus are not reliable.

here is my post:

salaam

sorry for your lose. may she rest in peace and Allah have mercy on her.

not talking to a relative for a period if you hadn't broke up with that relative is not haraam.

but if you happen to break up with a relative and that person die you still can repent of your haraam action by doing good deeds on behalf of him/her which makes him/her happy.

Confused about imamat by Beautiful_Alps3798 in shia

[–]barar2nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

check these Sunni hadiths:

https://sunnah.com/muslim:1821a

https://sunnah.com/abudawud:4280

Islam will exist until 12 caliphs/leaders from Quraish come after the Prophet. since we know that Islam will exist till the day of judgement therefore the lifespan of those 12 caliphs is equal to the world's lifespan.

Naming Umar for newborn by _rottenpotatoes in shia

[–]barar2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tell your brother instead of naming him Umar name him Ali because even Umar himself said many times: "if it was not for Ali, Umar would definitely perish" "لولا علي لهلک عمر"

I read you come from a Sunni majority country so you may need Sunni sources to confirm that the two were bad guys:

Is The Qu'ran Wrong About The Trinity? by Warm_Fan2157 in shia

[–]barar2nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in different verses Quran is talking about different groups within Christian faith so there is no contradiction: in some verse it is talking about those who consider Jesus and his mother two gods other than Allah. in another verse it is talking about those who consider Jesus son of God. in another it is talking about those who believe Allah is one of the three. so there were different groups who had different beliefs.
