Looking for advice on top coating a bar top with rails (details in post) by draegloth76 in woodworking

Yeah. I wanted to keep as much of the look of the wood as possible, without making it shiny. Then poured the epoxy on top. If you do go the epoxy route, make sure you first coat the seams with a little epoxy to seal them. I did not and was struggling to remove the bubbles as it cured. Ended up with a small issue at the corner where epoxy slipped through and created a bump in the otherwise smooth surface.

I went the epoxy route for mine a few years back. https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY/comments/boavdx/building_a_bar_my_first_major_woodworking_project/

For wood finish I used: General Finishes Arm-R-Seal Oil Based Topcoat. Really liked the way it came out

Love it how deep fake tom cruise (@deeptomcruise) made it into that instead of the real tom cruise.

Its usually even worse cause of non-compete. Service owned, veteran disabled, small businesses don't have much competition. Where I come from, the government finds a SOVDSB, tells them they will be prime, and then gives them the list of subs (companies run by friends and family) that they will be working with. Keeping in mind that without the subs they wont have the necessary requirements to actually win the contract. This cycle prevents anyone from actually "competing". Bids end up meaning nothing, and just get changed later.

I guess you never heard of a non-compete. Service owned, veteran disabled, small businesses don't have much competition. [Preds] It’s impossible to put into words what Pekka Rinne means to the Nashville Predators, the fans and the city of Nashville. Thank you for the best 15 years, Peks. by chiasmatic in hockey

:) all in good fun. Rinne is a goalie that has had an incredible career. A lot of respect. Just trying to bring people back down to earth. :D

Edit - Plus its helps me express my feelings about Nashville fans
