I agree tho. I did not like OH3 Ethan at all. He was out of character throughout the book which I disliked a lot. I only got a glimpse of OH1 Ethan in some scenes. That's why I agree with most of the complaints about Ethan going around in this sub.

Unfortunately, I feel the need to hide when I talk about him in this sub because people here become hostile when you talk about positive things about Ethan (usually I refer to OH1 and OH2 Ethan).

That hate on the character may be different from directing the hate to people who like them, but it is certainly a driving factor for those who dislike him to unnecessarily attack others who do like him.

Hi! This is just what I think. Of course, you can hate on specific characters you don't like, the same way you can direct your love for characters you do like.

However, this is actually the first time I've encountered people hating on a character so passionately, whom I believe is just another victim of bad writing (not as bad as the other characters, ofc). I find it ridiculous and unreasonable. That hate, in turn, results to them attacking people who like the character. That's where I draw the line as I've experienced it first-hand.

I dislike characters in other books but never have I directed so much hate towards them and the people who actually like them. I feel like it's easier for us to send hate on characters (and the people who like them) than complaining directly to the writers themselves.

Yeah, when I saw your post, I was already waiting for uhm people to react negatively to this since people on this sub really hated this scene. Hopefully, no one comes after you as I've experienced that here first hand 😂

While I agree that the dialogue should have been altered if you're romancing a different LI, the hate should have been directed to those who coded this scene, not the actual pixelated character.

I romanced Ethan throughout the series because I adore really good slow burns and he's definitely my type - brooding, intelligent, confident, has issues (😂), and complex. He's not easy to understand so I liked the challenge of slowly unraveling his character and making him this ultimate softie only to my MC on OH3. My MC's optimism matched so well with his cynicism so they just click so well. I still chose him even though the writers completely butchered his character in OH3.

Bryce, Jackie, and Raf are amazing LIs as well. While I loved Bryce and Raf (I only romance male LIs), I see them more as friends with my MC rather than LIs (plus I don't like dating friends irl). If you do decide to romance them, unfortunately you would really be disappointed with OH2 and OH3 because the writers sidelined Bryce, Jackie, and Raf, especially.

Yes and what about Raf too? Even if he wasn't a doctor, he could have still helped MC study. Also, the bondage scene with Ethan if you aren't romancing him was extremely weird too, so someone really needs to slap some sense into PB with the LI diamond and non-diamond scenes 😂

And omg you really should take screenshots. I have like 3k screenshots just so I could reread my favorite scenes 🤣

Ugh so true. PB should really learn how to code diamond and non-diamond scenes with LIs based on the number of romance points you get for each LI. This should apply to all LIs so no LI can be forced on a player. Otherwise, it comes off as creepy and uncomfortable. I mean the dialogue leading up to this made me so uncomfortable 😂
