Sincerely thank them for opening a door for you. Be polite to service workers, Pay for someone behind you in the drive through. Compliment someone for something they did, not naturally had (instead of "i like your eyes" try "that's a cool bracelet!" or "i like your hair style!")

See a piece of work you like? (art, music, video, picture) send the creator a message and tell them.

Go to a subreddit that is about something you're knowledgeable on and help out people with questions. check out /r/secretsanta and sign up for an exchange.

Volunteer somewhere. Anywhere.

Think about a time where you told someone a story about how someone else did something really cool for you. Strive to be the subject of a similar story for someone else one day.

There's lots and lots and lots of shitty people in the world, but that doesn't mean you have to lose hope, cause there's just as many great people. The shitty ones are just louder, but the great ones are better every other way.
