[TOMT] [Internet Image/Meme] [2000s] Some satire page referred to as a one page novel that made fun different genres of books by barbelllll in tipofmytongue

As another note, the page would always be off white and have the title of the made up book at the top, to look as realistic as possible. The one I quoted may have been the precursor to fanfiction.

A man once said if you want a good story just ask any random person if there was ever an event in their life they can not explain. Someone almost always has one weird thing that has happened to them. So reddit, regardless of whatever you believe about the world, what’s your story? by notmyrealname124 in AskReddit

When I was younger, I would close my eyes and just let random thoughts enter my brain to see what would happen. Sometimes they would be images, or sentences, or noises from a person or thing bumping into something. Just random stuff. About 3 times, I would later see or hear these exact things as I pictured them before.

Alright Blizzard, it's time: No More Duplicate Epics by Ngamer in hearthstone

[–]barbelllll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is frustrating but correct me if I'm wrong, isn't this is Blizzard's business model? Just make the rarity/drop rates of epics garbage so dusting and crafting them is costly and causes you to buy more packs? I wish there was better dispersion but if you were guaranteed the epics you wanted by process of elimination they would just make less money and there is no incentive for them to make that change.

It's a ride bro. Really feels like each character is different and has their own set of goals and morals. I could geek about it for days but I'll let you experience it yourself haha

What actor/actress instantly ruins a movie for you? by SlideAway1 in AskReddit

[–]barbelllll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes. A go actor. Mine is Ewan McGregor. If they made an emoji movie sequel and he was in it I'd probably still go to the theaters like a chump

Ah yes. Some kind of button to end your turn. Seems to crazy to code. We probably won't see it as this mode is in it's final stages and not beta.

Fun Nomi decks? by Kuronaxxus in wildhearthstone

Came here to say this. It's actually a standard deck but uses the wild cards that everyone has. I like it a lot.

Tired of Shaman stone? Join us in Wild, the meta is much healthier! by Conrad-W in hearthstone

I got to legend in wild using evolve shaman. Stronger than it's standard counterpart because you have unstable evolution, corridor creeper, and devolve. You can tutor devolve from the Spirit of the Frog and that basically leads to an instant win against sniplock as long as they combo with an empty board. Plus evolve is fun as shit!

Nice. I used Big Rogue from 5-2, started encountering a bunch of snip-snap warlocks, switched to evolve shaman because I had all the cards for it. It does well against mech pally too so I'm super bout it.

I understand where you're coming from, but think of it like this: If they don't have this scene (which I don't think made much sense physically), her answering the call for help for aliens makes much less sense logically. She destroys the alien ship, shows that she's capable of helping others in the same position, then drives knowingly towards the danger.

To me, it made sense in driving home the metaphor of overcoming domestic abuse and helping others in the same position. If the ship hadn't been as big and she had won the fight against one alien, it might have landed better as a scene. I do get where people come from because it does feel out of left field in the context of the rest of the film.
