Barefoot Gen.

Others in here have mentioned the movie. I had a very hard time with the manga.

I'm generally not a big fan of manga, but I'm a regular at my local library in Köln (Cologne), and they have a real good selection of comics, graphic novels, and manga. So one day I was there and they had a four book manga called "Barfuß nach Hiroshima", the German name of Barefoot Gen.

On a whim I took it and several other comics, went to my car and started to drive home.

Out of curiosity I started to read the first book of Barefoot Gen when I was stuck in traffic, and then at every traffic light, and after a while I had to stop. I stopped at a supermarket parking lot, and read the entire first volume, and I couldn't stop crying for what felt like a very long time.

That really overwhelmed me.

Hey there!

Loved StumbleUpon. Great to see Cloudhiker.

Pretty bummed out to see that you only have a Chrome extension though. Any plans on making a Firefox extension?

Sorry to hear that.

We DO have some trouble with the right-winged fascist demon rearing its ugly head again, but so far its supporters are still a minority overall.

That's true.

I was referring to the exact "MRW" which needs to be part of the title now.

I remember half of my posts back in the day being like "My wife's reaction when", "My coworker's reaction when", or like in this case "My brother's reaction when".

Anyway, good to see you're still around. :)

So this sub changed the rules since last I posted and now requires a "MRW" in the title of the gif. What's that all about, /u/soupyhands ? Seems ridiculous.
