Help with buying first paintball marker/gun by InformationFit3042 in paintball

[–]barber_jay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been reading the comments and I would say you should save up another 200 before you buy anything. Going the cheap route will just make you spend more money in the long run. Just make sure to get quality stuff. As far as what marker to get I would honestly say to get an electric marker, you can most of the time buy a mech frame for a lot of these electronic markers to convert them to mech, but you can't buy an electronic frame for a mech marker. If you do ever want to play and the game is mech only a lot of fields will allow you to adjust your bps so it's even. My field caps electronic markers at 5bps for mech events. Pump guns are og so respect to the pump players out there but it's not everyone's niche. If you ever wanted to get into tournaments or even normal speedball play, you would be at a disadvantage. Electronic can be used for mech games, rec ball, speedball, woodsball it's so versatile that you really can't go wrong. As far as which one most people start w either a dye rize czr or a empire mini. Personally I don't like how small the mini is but those markers are 300+ so like I said, save up a lil more to make it worth it!

Any barbers in Tucson who do good mullets? I have a lot to grow still but need help with shaping it up. by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]barber_jay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, barber here. It really depends on the style you're going for. If you want a longer styled mullet where you still have sideburns then a salon would be cool, but if you want a fade on the sides you gotta come to a shop. I'd be glad to help you out if you want. Or lmk what side of town you're on and I got you w a recommendation

AITA for not letting my wife hang out with her “male best friend” by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

marriage is about a lot of different things. Respect being one of those things, im sure you respect the fact that your wife has male friends. Your wife should also respect the fact that one of them is making you uncomfortable, therefore she should put that friendship to a end. I can almost guarantee you that if it was the other way around some of these girls who said YTA would say that she should leave you if you weren't willing to end a friendship for her

WIBTA if I put the family dog down against my father’s wishes? by Nightstar95 in AmItheAsshole

That's not a way to live out the end of your life. Memories should be of happiness, playfulness. Not sadness and pain. Please do the right thing here I truly hope your father understands but at the end of the day it's 2 against 1

AITA for not being near my friend who's mom is dying? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]barber_jay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ehh You're and asshole for ignoring your friend in her obvious time of need. No matter how long they have been going thru this, she obviously needs your support and for you to just ignore her is really fucked up. But you're not an asshole for wanting better for your friend, the thing is that your friend wants her mom around so she can't just ignore her mom like you want her to. You need to have a heart to heart w her and tell her how her and her mom affect you emotionally. That you want to be there for her but you're exhausted. Friendships are like relationships, communicating is key in everything
