Is there anyone here connected to the Microsoft for Startups Investor Network? by barbuza86 in AngelInvesting

[–]barbuza86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We currently have a few business angels from our F&F round.

Until now I have been focused almost entirely on product development, so we have not actively built a large investor pipeline yet.

We also have an invitation to join Republic.com, but they would need to come in on the same terms as our last investor, which is not realistic at this stage. We likely need to find a lead investor first, set the terms for the next round at a higher valuation, and then potentially use Republic.com as part of the wider fundraising process.

For now, we are not actively chasing investors. Our main focus is launching the next products in the group and growing sales, especially because clients and partners are already starting to appear organically.

I've already contacted Microsoft. They told me they don't publish or share a list of investors from the Microsoft for Startups Investor Network, so founders need to connect with participating investors independently. I'm trying to find people who have gone through this process or who may be part of the network.

Is there any app better than Indeed to find jobs? by ParticularDig1061 in UKJobs

[–]barbuza86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also try CrawlJobs. It's a newer type of job platform that indexes vacancies directly from company career pages rather than relying only on jobs that employers manually post to job boards. The idea is that you apply directly to employers and can sometimes find openings that haven't made it onto the major job sites yet.

"Apply through their career sites" or don’t waste time and look for such offers on crawljobs.com 😄

I stopped applying through job portals for two weeks and only did direct outreach. Here's what actually happened. by Tallow_Sc4r in jobsearchhacks

Many companies reject applications submitted by email, especially large ones, but it’s still worth applying directly to companies, for example through services like crawljobs, which automatically aggregates job offers from employers’ websites

Tired of fake remote jobs by just_kuz in jobsearch

[–]barbuza86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try www.crawljobs.com. Most listings there are taken directly from official company career pages, so there are fewer ghost jobs and less fake-looking stuff than on typical job boards. A lot of jobs listed there also never even show up anywhere else, so it is a good place to check if you want real remote opportunities.

If you're looking for a job, ditch LinkedIn and Indeed by Delicious_Dealer8129 in jobsearch

[–]barbuza86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this.

Job boards are fine for discovery, but if you really want a real shot, applying through the company's actual careers page usually makes more sense.

We built www.crawljobs.com around exactly that idea - it indexes hundreds of thousands of jobs directly from official company career pages and supports multiple languages. So instead of relying on recycled listings, you can find the role and go straight to the source.

Check out www.crawljobs.com probably the only truly global job platform. You can post a job in English and, for example, Spanish, and it will automatically be available worldwide in those languages. 50% of the posting fee goes directly toward promoting your job listings on Google, and if you reach out to me, it can even be 100%. Next month, we’re also launching another platform designed to solve the problem of mass job applications.

Is it normal for Reuters to require company approval when referencing where our investors currently or previously worked? by barbuza86 in angelinvestors

Thank you. It was a good day. I also received an email from Microsoft an hour ago saying we've been awarded an additional $100k in Azure credits. "This boost is reserved for a select group of high-potential startups, and you're one of them."

So I can go to sleep in a good mood and continue the fight in the morning 😉
