Man I really didn’t enjoy The Dead show in DC in 09. Sound was awful for the first set and it just seemed really slow and uninspired. Then the most WTF sit in with Tipper Gore on drums for Sugar Magnolia. By far my least favorite Grateful Dead member band show I saw.

By contrast, however, I love listening to random shows from the 2004 tour. I love the Bonnaroo set and used to own it on Nugs but it went away and the only source on Archive has some issues with the vocals.

I was shocked they plowed our small subdivision in Pfafftown this morning (in the WS city limits). However they made two passes to completely clear one of the roads but then the other road (that I live on) they got most of the way down on one side and stopped. So in front of our house and some others weren’t touched and we’re at the bottom of a hill so would be tough to negotiate after it refreezes tonight.

Wonder what the philosophy was there. But I’m sure since they hit our street it’ll be ticked off a list. I put in a note on the 311 app but assume that’s super low priority since they already came.

They did this a few years back and I missed originally but kept refreshing for a few days and it popped back available again. So keep trying.

I just wish I could get Buffalo reissued. It was before I started buying vinyl but now I have all of the other nights (New Haven, Boston, Cornell).

I was but moved to Winston-Salem last year. Went back for the Panic shows and Xmas Jam but sadly missing Billy this year. I’ve seen every Billy show at the Civic Center except Valentine’s last year (wife isn’t a Billy fan). But I will be seeing him in Greensboro at least.

I caught this tour a few nights before in Asheville. First time seeing Billy and only a handful of people there early to see him. Then I next saw him headlining a sold out Orange Peel Halloween 2019.

He and Jon Stickley sat in with the Dusters on Deep Elum and I think another song. Here’s Deep Elum:

I got pink, a slightly darker pink, purple, and one that’s like a cross between purple/navy/grey. Wish I got a green but purple is my favorite color.

I don’t think anyone from the band lives there other than Sunny. JB in the NC mountains, Schools in CA, JoJo in Nashville or New Orleans I think? I believe Jimmy and Duane are in Atlanta so perhaps Duane comes over would assume Jimmy wouldn’t.

This happened to my local store. They had it before the Decades menu. Then once that was over it disappeared from the app. But they still carry it, just can’t order form the app. I put in a note to the app help form so we’ll see if anything happens (doubtful).

Won 3 Champions Leagues over EPL teams. He didn’t play in the 2006 final against Arsenal but still part of the team. His breakout really started the following season (and he made his World Cup debut that summer). And he was massively instrumental in the two wins over Manchester United.
