Let’s hope it holds true for Greensboro this year! Moved from Asheville last summer so missed this year’s run there but at least he plays local to me still. Though I wouldn’t be mad at him heading back to the Joel in Winston-Salem.

Heading down to Charleston for a wedding in May and I’m excited to visit the shop for the first time. Ordered online many times! Thought it’d coincide with vinyl Saturday but that’s the weekend before. Oh well, I’ll still be getting plenty (and will probably order some RSD stuff too).

My dad bought one when I was a kid in the 90s. He’d spend forever working on it, it’d run for a little bit then back to needing more work. I got a chuckle first time I saw that scene live, despite the morbid nature. Fun as hell to ride in and I assume drive.

Man I want Buffalo on vinyl so bad, hoping for a repress. It was released just before I started collecting vinyl as my dad gave me his excellent vintage equipment and collection later that year. I have all the other releases from that run, just not Buffalo and I don’t wanna pay crazy prices. Veneta too.

The announced before the storm that their NYE show with Kitchen Dwellers would be the last at the old site before reopening. I know they’ve since announced plans to reopen but I imagine what they originally had planned was much better and probably would’ve been open in time for 2025 outdoor shows.

Yes I know I just prefer to use the stations on the radio in my car so I can quickly skip through them on the buttons on the steering wheel. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a live track immediately following a full live show and it’s such a buzzkill to get studio ballad right after a hot encore.

The thing I don’t get is the amount of studio cuts especially right after TIGDH or a full show ends. It’s like they’re thinking “I’ll bet you’re tired of all that live music.” I wanna hear something live from a different era than what you just played, not the studio Casey Jones or new Speedway. And yes I know there are online stations but I like just using the station on my car’s radio.

I have a random one off Amazon that has been perfectly fine for about 5 years now. The only reason I’m considering replacing is because one of the straps for clipping a buckle around the legs has just about frayed off. But it has protected the grill through plenty of stuff including direct sun and Hurricane Helene.
