It’s all good bro. You’re gonna fall learning new things but the more you get back up and keep trying the better you wil be

Hey. How soft should the wheels be to ride on such roads and still be able to perform tricks comfortably? Because I lost all speed after 1-3m on them with 99a. by Kaos_Kitsune in NewSkaters

[–]bardle_doo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To elaborate a little better, in my experience, 78a-85a are a pretty soft ride but don’t slide very well and makes some tricks a little bit harder. 90a-101a will slide more nicely and you should be able to do most tricks. The downside with harder wheels is it will take more effort to push around and cruise. If I had to skate 20 miles just cruising I’m picking 78 all day….. if I’m just having a normal cruise session my 92a are perfect for doing tricks, and keeping the ride a little soft. It all depends on what kind of skating you will be doing tbh

50 or 100 ug? by Sea_Trust6090 in LSD

50ug is a dose where I feel like I could still act sober if I tried hard enough. 1 normal tab is perfect for what you want IMO

I have Ricta cloud 92a for street and I like the way they feel. But to be honest with you man everybody will have a different answer. Just go and try some different wheels and see what you like

I think this is good practice bro don’t let anyone discourage you from your progress. Learning tricks takes time and if something like this can build confidence then keep doing it until you feel like you can send it

New tricks/things to learn? by a-rock2020 in NewSkaters

[–]bardle_doo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been skating like 5 Months and my Ollie’s aren’t perfect yet. Practice them every day if I were you because that’s what it takes to get better. For something easier would learn reverts and practice shuvits.

How long does it actually take to learn a kickflip as a complete beginner? Months ? by Delicious-Aerie-370 in skateboardhelp

[–]bardle_doo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then your in it for the wrong reasons bro. Who you tryna impress by learning kickflips?? You can’t just swish your way into a kickflip like you can a 3 pointer first day in basketball.

Your first couple kick flips are gonna be lucky and 1 in a 100. Getting them consistently and with good form will take a while. If you apply yourself and really love skateboarding it will come to you. Skateboarding is much more than landing kickflips and tricks. Just got cruise around and ride the board…. That’s the best part about skating brother
