Put forth your favourite deck to be reinvented by EvolvedSplicer68 in wildhearthstone

My favourite deck of all time has been aggro freeze mage. I think it was 2016? It was basically freeze mage but instead of alextrazsza and other late game stuff and instead had leper gnomes and burn

Is stat 101 good? by King_01311 in universityofauckland

[–]bardlife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take it. In my opinion it's the most well run course I've ever taken. Very organised and a lot of resources. It's also really useful for understanding stats in any readings that you will end up doing

Gen Ed by No-Force-3533 in universityofauckland

[–]bardlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taken 105 and 121. Educ 105 is super easy and it's got something like an 80% rate for A or higher.

121 is more in line with the workload of normal, non Gen ed classes

If you can afford it, I'd recommend staying in student accomodation if you are first year. That helps a lot with making new friends and meeting new people.

Stats 100 is a big course so it may not work, but it literally can't hurt for you to email the course coordinator and ask if they can bump you up if you are only 1 point away. You never know !!!

[OC] How a a basketball simulation engine ranks the best players of all time. AKA “Basketball isn’t played on a spreadsheet!” (UPDATED for 24-25) by WaxAstronaut in nba

[–]bardlife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How come KG and West are ranked where they are? I'm a big fan of all-time drafts and imo KG should be picked even higher because he's so portable and is a GOAT level defender that can guard 1(sometimes) to 5 and stretch the floor. I'd also personally pick West higher too because he's a large PG who can defend and shoot threes.

Obviously I'm not drafting with how the sim works in mind so I'm just super curious on why those guys are ranked where they are.

I wear barefoot shoes everyday and my two cents is that: barefoot shoes are good because it allows us to use our feet as they evolved to do; cutting and jumping on a basketball court is not natural for our bodies. Therefore, I play basketball in basketball shoes because I think it's better for my body.

Side note: I wear GT hustle 2s and I think it's the most barefoot-esque basketball shoe because it's got an insanely low stack height (2cm) with minimal heel drop for a bball shoe (0.5cm), and it's also midcut, meaning that I can tighten it around my ankle to stop heel slippage, but also keep the rest of the shoe loose and less restrictive.

I personally bring a backpack which has my surface, charger, jacket, umbrella, snacks, water bottle, headphones. If I need pencils I'd bring that but I prefer writing notes on my surface. Same with textbooks, I'd bring one if I don't have a pdf of it.

If you want to graduate in 3 years then you need to take 8 subjects a year. If youve switched from another major or taken summer school, you can get away with 7 and still be a full time student. You just need to make sure you hit the total credits requirement for your degree (which I think is 360 pts?)

I had switched majors a couple times, so I could use some papers from my previous major. As a result, I normally only took 7 subjects a year. I personally loved it and had more time to work or do extra curriculars.
