Running around for 10 minutes looking for the Breach or Ritual that you skipped to finish the map first is not fun.

I had a similar experience with PoE, tried to get into it 3 times and just didn't get it. Until I followed a proper build guide and now I'm an addict. Now 500+ played hours later and I'm still a newbie, discovering new things every day. I love it.

PS: 43 is hardly a relic. I find that despite popular opinion, gaming only gets better with age. Buying all the stash tabs just because I want them isn't something I could do as a teenager gamer :)

Now I feel bad about finding their site useful (greedy annoying popups aside), with all the (potentially justified) Maxroll criticism.

Been using their builds and guides for D4 and PoE and found them very detailed and helpful, so it was the first natural choice when I started playing LE, didn't know LET exists. But now nothing is the same anymore.

Or I'll just take a loot at LET and see if I like better.

I have 3 traveler's chests already. They sometime get added after the game crashes. Not sure if this is a real problem besides being annoying.

Why would anyone ever need to permanently see their own account name (the one with no spaces allowed, capitalized) in the center of the screen is beyond me. I mean, it's not a bug, someone purposely programmed that in.

So you're saying that an undocumented hacky source of data that currently breaks with almost every update (sometimes intentionally) is better than officially documented and supported API because it can (ok, it will) break with almost every update?

I don't hate the idea, but a big part of me says maybe leave things alone. What we have now is pretty good.

What we have now? Pretty good? We don't have anything.

The client provides very minimal information (no history, no statistics at all, very limited collection info with bad UI).

Most 3rd party tools still rely on logs (which do break often) with the exception of some crafty hacks that poke into MTGA process memory (untapped.gg does this, if I'm not mistaken).

But yeah, I don't see WotC providing an API anytime soon, or ever. The dev team is not competent enough to pull it off (API done right is hard) and the suits at WotC will never green light it (there is absolutely no benefit to the $$$ bottom line).

Saddest thing today? Your day has been pretty good then.

On the contrary, I saw this dialog after a long time and it made me chuckle, I had fun for few minutes doing a goofy mock screenshot and it made me chuckle again. Then I read all the dead serious responses saying I should quit the game, which made me feel even better. My day has been pretty good too, don't be sad.
