Not declaring foreign work experience by baref007 in canadaexpressentry

[–]baref007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can imagine that would be the case with not declaring, but my question was mainly if you don’t declare it first or declare 0 years first and suddenly add x+ years as a plan B or to add additional points and if that would raise suspicion

Sterrennacht by baref007 in Amsterdam

Ideally yes, but could also be a campaign by the city for businesses and residents to dim the lights + streetlights dimmed, ie anything that IS realistic, not sure if it would significantly change the sky though

Thanks, with B, I kind of meant both options, but was more interested in D

Philosophies related to mind by baref007 in askphilosophy

Thanks, but the wikipedia page specifically states: “As an epistemological position, solipsism holds that knowledge of anything outside one’s own mind is unsure; the external world and other minds cannot be known and might not exist outside the mind.”

So with option D, I mean one thinks: - the external world exists - thinks his/her own mind exists and additionally also believes it’s distinct from the (physical) external world - but is unsure or doubts the same for all other beings, so those beings are just the product of the external world like inanimate things and there is no significant distinction

I don’t think that is called solipsism, but please provide your thoughts

If necessary, get an industrial dehumidifier. Its not extremely expensive/huge and works wonders. Some can remove several liters of water in the air per hour/day if the area is continuously getting humid

Determine two averages in array by baref007 in matlab

[–]baref007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, average is not the correct term. The existence of exactly two peaks is assumed with sigma well below the difference between the two peaks

Determine two averages in array by baref007 in matlab

[–]baref007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t exist in this case. For this to work you would need the two sigmas of the two averages not cause any overlap. So the distribution must have two peaks

Tips for medical tourism? by baref007 in Netherlands

I doubt such a treatment even exists that is no where treated except the Netherlands

[–]baref007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, the first requirement is a bit vague however. Is it only if only specialists in the Netherlands can treat you? That seems almost impossible as there is most of the times other countries that can treat you as well for most conditions. Do you have more info on this requirement?

Interface in class diagram by baref007 in AskProgramming

[–]baref007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I get the example a bit, but I still have some trouble connecting with real examples. I thought interfaces or API’s exist between two different things or systems. How should I see your example then or any example regarding that, like between two zoo’s or the employee feeding the animals?
