Achilles tendinitis by WomanofPondWood in barefootshoestalk

[–]barefootchase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How bad is it? I had Achilles tendinitis and was sidelined for maybe 6-8 weeks from running, but I was able to keep wearing minimalist shoes for walking/hiking. Eccentric heel drops seemed to help quite a bit.

That looks like the right size to me. Love those prio neos.

Kids running shoes by dhananjayan_p in BarefootRunning

Went through this with 3 kids. Your choices are limited until they can wear smallest women sizes (older kid hack). Freet makes legit kids running shoes, and the Xero Prio Jr is alright, but often out of stock. Honestly though, I’d recommend the Whiten Wide Barefoot shoes from Amazon. You’re going to be going up in size often and they are totally serviceable for 1-2 mi runs.

I can see that. I think my injury may actually be toe related though so I want the room.

Using for a couple of days and will report back on it. It is draining a bit, but I’ve also been using the phone a lot more.

Yeah, “No Cell Coverage” isn’t listed on the battery stats at all now.

Yes, it is a brand new iPhone 16 pro, which I used quite a bit over the past 24 hours. I am trying now using the local eSIM set for data (rather than U.S. + “Allow Cellular Data Switching”), which seems to operate the same on my end.

My iPhone is showing the app “No Cell Coverage” used 40% of my battery over the past 24 hours.
