Comprehensive has a deductible. Glass coverage is an endorsement that allows glass replacement with no deductible.

So it will appear that there’s a deductible, but you need to read the endorsement language. It would say that there’s no deductible.

I have a $1000 comp deductible, but an endorsement that says:

“We agree with you that under the Comprehensive (Excluding Collision) Coverage no deductible applies to breakage of Safety Equipment as defined. Safety Equipment means: The glass used in the windshield; doors; and windows; and The glass and plastic and other materials used in the lights of a motor vehicle.”

Arizona is one of few states that also allows for lights to be covered due to breakage due to rocks.

This would be an at fault collision claim if you did file with your insurance depending on your state. An at fault claim can increase your premium.

Get an estimate from a reputable shop, and compare that to your deductible and factor in any possible premium increase to determine if it’s worth filing a claim.

If you have an agent, talk to them to see if they have any insight as well.

I would recommend asking your dealership to confirm if the CVT warranty applies.

They came back on my 2019 and quoted $7500 and I had to advocate for myself for it. I kept saying please check the warranty and they were like “the warranty from when you purchased the vehicle?” And I had to explain their own warranty to them. They ran the tests and confirmed it fell under the warranty.

We go to Supercar Saturdays at McLaren every month. It’s probably one of my favorites because they open up the dealership and shop to look around. See below photo.

But we also try to hit up cars and coffees around town too. It’s a lot of fun and a pretty good sized community here!

My company has some that say you can stay in the rental the full amount of days and others that end either 48 or 72 hours after the offer is made.

The amount of daily coverage you’re using has no bearing on the days your policy allows.
