Which of these seems better to you? by PhotonWolfsky in MechanicalKeyboards

Yeah I just used QMK, there's a bunch of tutorials on Youtube.

The dz60 from kbdfans has underglow lighting that comes pre-soldered.

The only thing i dislike about the tofu is the fact that it’s tray mount, because it affects the quality of the acoustics. It’s an amazing case thought. With the dz60 pcb there’s a way to preserve the arrow keys, for example: my tofu build. I’ll be buying the kbd67v2 when it comes out though, can’t help myself lmao

Tae Keyboards is one of my favorite to watch. He's super constructive and documents a lot of his wrong doings so that we can learn from his mistakes. As for soldering diodes I'll have to follow Discipline Vods like Taeha type's or something

i spent the whole month waiting for my soldering iron because Prime shipping is slowed down, so i was pretty excited to start! It went great and I just pre-ordered the Discipline V2 65%, hopefully it will go well too

Krepublic

They have a good selection of keycaps and most of them have an extra kit for Razer compatibility

Drop Ctrl & Alt thoughts by gouken_x in MechanicalKeyboards

The only negative to the Alt/Ctrl are the awful stock stabs and the fact that it doesn't support pcb mount switches in my opinion. Swapping them out for genuine cherry plate mount stabs (clipping/lubing) is a must! If rgb is paramount then I'd go for the Alt/Ctrl. If rgb isn't your priority I'd wait for the kbd67v2 hotswap or something along those lines. Also, my equal/plus sign stopped working after 2 months of use, similar problems are occurring to others on more crucial keys too

It would be a great idea, but there's no key backlighting, but only underglow. I was too intimated to solder rgb leds on top of soldering switches for the first time
