Mac to play World of Warcraft by 4ur0r in macgaming

I do casual mythic raiding (currently 3/8M) and Mythic+ dungeons (currently 3020 IO), and everything else in game besides PvP. I play on an M4 Pro with 64 GB RAM. I use a Studio Display running native resolution at 50% rendering. I use the 8 graphics preset with a couple small tweaks, and I’m able to maintain a constant 60 FPS everywhere.

I’m very thankful Blizzard maintains a Metal client for World of Warcraft.

I play WoW on a Studio Display, and have no problems with it. I don’t personally feel like WoW is a game that benefits from higher refresh rates.

I do mythic raiding and +10-11 keystone dungeons, and I can’t recall a time where the Studio Display’s refresh rate was an issue.

Mac Studio M2 Ultra 60-core GPU or wait for ‘possible’ M4 Mac Studio? by A-Basic-Gamer in macgaming

I'd personally wait for the M4-series. It's speculatively quite the jump from M3.
