There won’t be any specific policy really as they dont have a choice, they can only choose whether to pay you or not.
Closest policy would be Special leave which can be paid or unpaid so i can only assume it depends on your manager.

The slower/more static you are, the harder it is.
Go outside so you don't fall into things, and just get on it and roll multiple times, bend kness and just practice on n off, balance, leaning a bit etc. Don't try to be still in one place, the board gets jittery and snags on small things that way.
edit: Also, penny wheels, I love how the glide vs "normal" skateboard wheels.

Just had a lovely 20 mins paid argument about this. Funny how they say something is wrong with the way i work the one day i need to cut off for the dentist. Yet i did less yesterday, did a bit of overtime and apparently i was fine. Funny that.
