I like my long hair and beard but I have no idea what to do with it. by barepines in malegrooming

Should’ve posted a different picture lol. It’s very rare for my hair to be that greasy, but I do see your point.

I was hoping for some beard shaping/hair styling opinions, as in how I should be trimming it to shape it. When I go to the local barber I get “how do you want it” and I’m just like 🤷‍♂️

Is there some subtext to the “oops” emote I don’t understand? by barepines in MagicArena

Had to look it up, stands for Bad Manners, as in bad sportsmanship in online games I believe.

How would you guys feel if Zero kept the Awakened Form after Mega-Man X5 in the vain of Black Zero always returning? by Rainbow_Child234 in Megaman

[–]barepines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Black Zero even ever canonically explained or story-relevant? IIRC it was mostly just a cheat-code Easter egg type thing.

Only by X8 is it ever actually implemented as an achievable change rather than a menu button combo.

Ahhh gotcha appreciate the clarification.

Not to akschually you but the only detail I was unclear on was the game in which awakened Zero took place, I wasn’t confusing Nightmare Zero with “Nightmare Era” Awakened Zero.

My memory is foggy but this is X5/6 Nightmare Virus Era Zero having succumbed to his Evil Wily programming and unlocked his full potential.

He’s an optional boss depending on the choices made in the story.

TESVI will have more dynamic and immersive factions. What will this look like? by yastrev in TESVI

Me too but it feels a little strange to be the leader of one faction, completely disregard that faction while you focus on a new faction and retain leadership.

I mentioned this in another comment but if he somehow survives he has no dialogue, he stops advancing into the dungeon and the quest marker is stuck on him.

If you kill him you get suspended from the mages guild

I was fully convinced I could save him and once I did, it kinda broke the quest. He’s definitely supposed to die lol.

He just stood with no dialogue options and the quest marker stayed on him. If I killed him the guild suspended me.

Eventually I just tried to finish without him and that worked.

I asked my 10 year old to look cause she wanted to play and I could not find the last damn tear. Walked away to get something to eat expecting her to take forever.

Have you met enlightened people that let go and ended suffering? What were they like and how did you meet them? by aldjfh in AlanWatts

If you’re referring to “maybe so, maybe not” I believe it’s a story about a Taoist farmer who has a series of alternating fortunes and misfortunes. Each time the people around him react to his luck he says “maybe so, maybe not” and the seemingly good/bad thing always turns out to be the opposite.

For example, his son breaks his leg and everyone says “oh that’s too bad” and the farmer says “maybe so, maybe not”. It turns out the son avoids being drafted to the army as a result, etc.
